Went to Albertsons today and I usually have no problems with anything there lately until today. Shopping went well and when I got up to the checkout the clerk states there are NO baggers today, so I asked if he expects me to bag my entire basket of food and his answer was that we have no baggers today. Normally I wouldn't really mind but now I'm 68 and not in great health with wearing oxygen. Bagging my own stuff did a couple of things, it really slowed down the line (not my fault) and made it even harder for me to breathe. Out of 6 bags he helped bag 2, then he had the nerve to ask if I would like help taking my groceries out, I said no of course and replied you can't spare the people. Today was a Friday and the store was busy, why in the world would they not schedule enough people for the afternoon. This is the first time that has happened so I gave them a 3 star instead of 1. Hopefully it doesn't happen again, if it does I guess I will have to shop elsewhere. Sorry...

I completely understand without a doubt ( I am a single mom, struggling paycheck to paycheck) that not just individuals but larger business and corporations, etc. are all struggling in today's economy, thus making cutbacks whenever and wherever possible, HOWEVER...
