
Are you planning to take your bikes out for a ride on the Escondido Creek Trail? This park is about 1.5 miles from the south-west end of the trail so it could be a perfect starting or ending point for you and your kids. When we were here, they had excavators and bulldozers working on one section of the park grounds, which my son obviously loved. He also really enjoyed watching the swimming lessons that were in session.

Goes from 3 ½' to 9' deep, but the only way to get in the pool is by slide (it's a bit of a squeeze if you're an adult, so it is mainly for kids), the silver handlebars outside the pool, which have the little steps in the water) or the small diving boards that are probably meant for kids lol. Read moreGrew up swimming here and ive played basketbally a few times. There are almost always people playing pick up games in the evenings. The new skatepark layout doesn't flow very well. The lines cross eachother for many of the features but its still better than nothing and nice for a beginner. Best to go later in the evening if you want to avoid the crowds of kids and you want to avoid waiting more...
