Emmy's On Main — Local services in Essex

My boyfriend and I were in Connecticut to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We wanted to do a bit of hiking at Gillette Castle, but of course I forgot to bring my sneakers. We stopped in at a few shops in town to see if I could get a pair but unfortunately no one had anything that would work. The owner of this beautiful establishment, Emmy, was a lifesaver! This may sound strange, but she very kindly lent me a pair of her shoes that she had only worn once so that our plans would not be thwarted by my unpreparedness :) So, not only is Emmy a fantastic human being who saved our Anniversary Celebratory Weekend, but she owns a beautiful shop with lots of fantastic items for sale :) Definitely check out the "Mandles"! They smell awesome and would be a great gift for the men in your life! I know she is moving to a new location very soon and I wish her all the luck in the world!
