I took 16 items to this cleaners to get cleaned and paid $250 just for only 1/2 my items to be cleaned. Upon drop off I pointed out and went through each clothing item with their employee and not once did the employee state that any of my items was difficult to clean or that I would only be paying them to try and clean my items ! per the owner John thatâs all we do is pay them to try ! when in fact my items did not look like they tired one bit. Upon pick up the employee didnât even attempt to point out or notify me that most of my items were unclean-able I took it upon myself to look at my items to confirm they where cleaned. When I dropped off my clothing I even went as far as grabbing an additional item from the car and asked if the item could be cleaned and was told that they couldnât clean it so I politely took that item home ! This cleaners also up-charge to clean items that are only know name brand to them in my items dropped off included (1 Gucci hoodie, 1 Givenchy hoodie, 1 supreme pull over, 1 hell star hoodie and 1 who decides war hoodie all $500+ hoodies ) the gucci and Givenchy hoodies where priced at $26 to clean when the other 3 where only priced at $13 to clean ! & to up-charge based on the price someone paid for a hoodie/ clothing item because you know the brand when each hoodie is equally thick and valued is beyond me I am paying to clean a item not to be judged based off the price of what I paid for something. ( I was also up-charged to clean name brand shirts !) In addition to my 16 items I also sent 3 Uggs to get cleaned and paid $150 for only one pair of Uggs to actually look clean I was beyond upset at how bad my Uggs looked ! They look worse than what they did when I dropped them off and when I asked the owner how he felt my Uggs looked he stated â not that badâ which in fact reassured me that my Uggs looked terrible. I was also told by the employee that my Uggs just go into the washer machine for cleansing ! & you can tell that no one actually put effort into cleaning these shoes. I also had my supreme hoodie altered and the alteration looks as if no effort was put into it, the hole that needed to be fixed was way smaller than the ârepairâ and to repair a hole the way they did with the color thread they used instead of black thread also is amateur and poorly executed. When i expressed my dissatisfaction in their services no accountability or accommodation was offered I will never do business with them again. When the person who was suppose to hem my dress and my other daughter's bridesmaid dress ghosted me I reached out to JayDee. Not only was John one of the most pleasant people to deal with he was able to get our dresses done in time for the wedding. They actually had them ready one day before he told me they would be ready and the cost for both was less than the other seamstress wanted for one. When I went in to pick them up John was there again and he remembered that that it was my daughters wedding. On other occasions though, Iâve gone in to have the stitching on a zipper of a shirt restitched back into place, and a strap of a purse re-attached and was told that those werenât services that this location provides. Both services in my opinion weâre relatively easy services for a âDRY CLEANERSâ to repair, being theyâre in the alteration business, so I didnât see why they couldnât be done here, but okay. The condescending and somewhat rude representative (s) both times were unpleasant, and unhelpful, and for THOSE reasons moreso than the general services being turned away, we will not be returning anymore.
