Unless there is no where else to get food or your in a pinch- this is not the place to eat. The first time my husband and I ordered there, we vowed to never order there again. I ordered the Chicken Lo Mein and the meat came in tiny chunks that tasted more like a mushroom (and looked like one too, but wasnt) and I had eaten about a quarter when I realized the chucks were the chicken and it was spoiled (as it was hard to tell with the sauces and since I was hungry, I didn't want it to be spoiled but it got so bad tasting finally). So it took about a year to work up the courage and when no other place was open or would deliver to where we were (on a Thursday night at almost 10)- also, we were all out of food in the house- we thought to try them again- hoping that over time they got better. Plus, I ordered the beef Mei fun instead- as those noddles are thinner and harder to ruin, also hoping that the beef in it would be harder to spoil. And I admit, the food was okay- a dismal (however small the servings were). But that's only if you don't want any meat...because the beef included were the smallest of chunks- my cat gets bigger ones in its cat food. Plus, the meat tastes really cheap and low grade to begin with (there is probably better meat in my cats food)- you just think they could give you more- of everything. However the veggies and sauce were good- but there was really only a cabbage type thing, noddles and that was about it. The meal too- for a large general tsos and large beef Mei fun was two dollars short of 30 (so the two went into the tip)- which is a bit high for the low grade Chinese the provide. In all honestly, with just noddles, a type of cabbagey vegetable, sauce and chucks of meat a cat would turn down, the food is only good in a pinch (plus, you have to pray you get unspoiled meat). The meals are also small- they come in those long and shallow black containers. So don't be prepared to be satisfied after spending so much money...I definetely was not though at least this time I could eat my meal. I finished my dinner still a little hungry- and when we eat anywhere else I always have leftovers. Like I said, only in a pinch...because this is really a sparce and risky...
Read moreEvery time we order it about $80.00-$-100+. I always tip minimum $20.00. The last order I mistakenly order pickup when I meant delivery. Thinking I ordered delivery the tip was little over $21.00. When I realized my mistake I called and requested. Could they please deliver the order. Mind you they are literally three blocks away. When they insisted I pay a four dollar delivery charge. I asked if I could cancel the order. They said no I cannot. I did point out that a $21 tip would be highly unusual for a pick up order. So I relented and paid the extra. four dollars. Mind you the store keeps two dollars and gives the driver two dollars. They could’ve mentioned it to me and said can you please give our driver two dollars. My order was over $100.00. When the order arrived, my daughter was heating up my grandson’s food in an air fryer. We both suddenly smelled something Like burning plastic. We thought it was the air fryer. It turns out I had ordered for the first time they’re fried shrimp and they’re fried fish. The tops of the Styrofoam containers literally had melted onto the food. I cannot possibly be the first person to experience this. Having now needing to throw away three meals, I called and asked them. What can I do about it. While the young lady on the phone was not directly rude. She was very put off and I was on hold for a while. At this point, not going to order from there again. Who sends out hot food that melts plastic. What kind of quality control is going on in that kitchen. I asked them to cancel my order, and they have no way to cancel an order from online. As I was told. I now have thrown away my egg for young as I’m hoping that crunch on every third or fourth bite was eggs shells. This is insane on my part to pay that much money for such low...
Read moreThe food at this restaurant is possibly the best Chinese in Cleveland as far as I'm concerned. I do have one complaint pretty sure it's the owner's daughter who works there along with another younger employee... I hate to say it but I feel like she's rude, obnoxious, frankly has no place working in a restaurant. Multiple times now I've gone there and I asked her if my food's ready she says no and I look over on the counter behind her and it's sitting there with my name on it or my phone number, and I know it's there! This last time I went it happened again and I looked at it and I said that's my food I know it is and she goes " bruh no it's not! " to run around with some African American girl joking laughing acting like they were chasing each other throughout the lobby, meanwhile my food sat there finally I looked at her when she got back behind the counter and I said there's my food because I'm there it is and she handed it to me. "Her you go bruh". Same food same container didn't care. It's a shame because the food is amazing It really is It's just a shame the counter people aren't exactly at least this particular one very nice. I'm pretty easygoing but I really don't want to be called bro by a...
