Beautiful store. Great selection. High quality merchandise. Helpful staff. The reason for the 3 stars is they have a very cumbersome return policy. I received a fairly expensive gift purchased here which was unfortunately the wrong item for me. I contacted the giver, got the receipt and tried to return the item for a refund. Even though I presented the receipt, the clerk told me I could only exchange the item or get a gift card unless I could present the debit card used to buy the item. She was apologetic, but said she had no way to issue a refund. I didn't want a gift card since I rarely shop there. An exchange would lead to same problem since replacement item would be only half the price of the gift, leaving the balance on a gift card, I suppose. When I got home I tried to check out the website to see what the return policy is, but apparently their website is not working. So I'll have to take the gift back to the giver and ask the giver to take it to the store and return it for me. I realize this is a first world problem, but I hope they establish a new, more customer-friendly...

The shop was clean and well arranged, and the staff was responsive and helpful. However I was not able to find what I was looking for, nor a reasonably close alternative. I was looking for a medium sized saute pan with a cover, which seemed like a pretty modest ask for an establishment that bills itself as the "ultimate kitchen store". I left empty handed. Perhaps this is related to uncontrollable supply chain issues, but seems like kind of a large gap in product availability considering I wasn't set on a particular brand, material or even size. A few months ago I bought a few sheetpans and other stuff with advice from a woman whom I believe was the owner. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. The pans we actually a little cheaper than the same brand sold at Freddy's, though I wouldn't mind paying a little more to support a local business.

I'm now in need of a good stainless pan so I'll be going back tomorrow. Great store for good quality cookware, especially if you're getting more into cooking and want direction on...
