Side Bar — Restaurant in Eugene

I am home sick with covid, and to keep everybody safe I called in a order and had somebody outside my home go pick it up ( thought they would appreciate that over me coming in person) I even explained that to the lady when I asked if I could pay over the phone. To which I was informed that they can but it’s easier to have the card in person. Fine the person I was having get the food lives by me. After yes what was longer than we expected, she got there to get my food. As she was also getting my son food else where. But the lady looked at her and very rudely said “ Hmmmm it’s been sitting there for a hour.” Why she said that I have no clue cause nobody was asking for it to be remade, or said anything for that matter about it sitting there. We knew I would have to reheat it. On top of this when my mom gave my name thinking it would be on the order the same lady rudely said “ That means nothing to me. What’s the order?” Not sure if this is the normal for this place or what. But for somebody who has NEVER been here before it certainly did not sit well. I only had chose this place from a post on Facebook...

This was honestly a very disappointing experience from start to finish. The first server we had said she couldn’t recommend anything on the menu when we asked what is most popular. We moved sections after waiting over 20 minutes after getting our drinks to order food. We have a five year old and she was hungry. Once we placed our order on the other side of the restaurant, we waited over an hour for our food. I begged them to get my daughter’s Mac n cheese since we had now been at the restaurant for over an hour. They brought it and it was very hot with chunks of frozen Kraft noodles. Our food took another 20 minutes and it was mediocre. Our server at the second table was great. Not her fault about the food. We still tipped her respectfully, but won’t be back. It’s a shame because we just moved here and we were excited about a sports bar near our house. Definitely...

We went for Taco Tuesday. Limited taco options, but what they had was reasonably priced, made with fresh ingredients, and tasted great. I have to admit (with some embarrassment) that I skipped the tacos and ordered a smash burger and fries off their happy hour menu. The bun was sort of falling apart when I got it, but it was delicious. I did steal a couple of bites of a chicken taco from my husband- yum! Friendly atmosphere and our waiter, Ben, did a fantastic job. He was busy, but he still managed to keep everything organized- even though our party of 10 arrived in three separate groups, we changed seating arrangements 2x, and we had two people with dietary restrictions.
