Walking Sitters — Local services in Eugene

Tamal and Emily are literally the best. We were new to the Eugene area about a year ago and were lucky to stumble upon this awesome group. They are super responsive, very flexible (been able to watch are cat on a weeks notice), and very reasonably priced. We previously had family watch our cat during our trips but found that to be unreliable and no longer possible when we moved. Emily and Tamal come everyday and provide emails confirming our cat has ate and drank (and how much!), went to the restroom, and will play with her while they are there. To add icing on the cake they send us pictures of her most days and she looks like she is having the best time! It's nice to know that our cat is the best hands and gives us peace of mind she is okay while we are away!...

Walking Sitters (and specifically our sitter, Jenny) was fantastic all-around! Tamar, who is wonderful, was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and set up a visit to establish my “kittos” daily regimen. He took notes and was super thorough and attentive to every little detail that I shared. I especially loved the online portal where I was able to easily add personal specifics for both of my cats and also easily pay my invoice. And most of all, I LOVED that I was able to chat with our sitter each day that she was visiting our sweet girls— she sent a detailed log plus photos, and I felt so comfortable knowing that our girls were being seen by such caring and kind individuals. Awesome for alternative pets! We have two rabbits who are like part of our family, and finding an in home sitter with experience caring for prey animals was a challenge. We finally found Chenelle and Lacie's, and we ended up with exactly what we had been hoping for. She came to our home for a meet and greet with our two little furry babies the week before we left on our trip, and her attitude put me at ease right away. She was very knowledgeable about rabbit care, and was visibly excited about caring for our girls. During our trip she was incredibly patient with my frequent calls for updates, and upon our return we found two very calm rabbits and a diary of Chenelle's daily visits. We'll definitely be returning to her for any future care...
