Arekie - Indian Fusion Cuisine — Restaurant in Eugene

The food here seriously blew me away—this place is doing Indian fusion right. I ordered the Fusion Crunch Wrap with Butter Chicken and the Mini Naan Tacos with Chicken Tikka, and both were absolutely delicious.

The Fusion Crunch Wrap was packed with flavor and texture—creamy, spicy, and perfectly wrapped in a crisp grilled tortilla. I went with the mango habanero spice level, which had just the right amount of heat to enjoy all the flavors without it being overwhelming. The butter chicken inside had a ground-like texture that worked great—it absorbed the sauce really well, making every bite full of flavor. This dish is definitely one I’ll be coming back for.

The Mini Naan Tacos with Chicken Tikka were also excellent. The naan tasted freshly baked, soft but sturdy enough to hold all the toppings and sauce. Super creamy and flavorful—another solid pick.

The masala fries were crispy, well-seasoned, and super addicting—definitely worth it. On top of all that, the service was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

I’m very embarrassed because I ordered the crunchwrap and requested it vegan and then brought it back because it had cheese on it. But it turned out to be VEGAN CHEESE. Nowhere has vegan cheese! It was so melty even! They were so nice even though I was annoying, and it ended up being the most delicious thing I have eaten in ages. I’ve been wanting to check this food cart out (they have another location at Oakshire and this location is fairly new). The food options here are creative and absolutely delicious! I love how you get to choose from a variety of proteins and build from there. We split a Fusion Crunchwrap with Chicken Tilkka at a medium spice level and it was fantastic!
