Sport Clips Haircuts of Martinez — Local services in Evans

I've attempted to go here twice now. The first time, a Friday night, at 6PM, ALL of the exterior lights and most of the INTERIOR lights were off. I parked and watched a guy walk into the store, THEN they turned the lights on. Figured they were about to close so I went on home. (Mind, it was just after 6PM, and I know now they close at 8)

Then I tried again after they opened Saturday morning. Walked in, the 2 stylists were busy, and I was told to have a seat and one of them would get me checked in shortly. No problem. Another guy walked in, and a stylist immediately stopped what she was doing, came over and checked him in, didn't acknowledge my existence, and went back to her customer.

I left and went somewhere else. Then today (Monday) I drove past this store on my way home and AGAIN they didn't have any lights on outside in the dark, or that many inside. Looked completely uninviting once again. I'll continue to give my business somewhere else, maybe give these people a few months to figure out...

I gave this location 5 stars three weeks ago and I just had to come back and hit the EDIT button to add to the experience. I came to this location after a barber mishap and was greeted with a warm smile and a handshake by Sarah, she immediately understood my situation by asking, acknowledging and relating to my bad experience with the haircut I had just gotten at a local barber shop. She ensured she would fix my hair and she did just that. She has since then been the only person I go to and has exceeded my expectations in every way with her added VIP and her great customer service. Aside from that around town others have asked me where I got my haircut and when I mentioned the location they mention her name as being one of the best! The staff at the Martinez Sports Clips are all professionals and great at what they do. Being in military has allowed me to get many haircuts around the world and I have to say this location sits at the top amongst the best!! Keep up the great...

Meh 2.5 of 5.0. Mediocre for the fare but know that I am very particular about my coif. If I were to return, I'd choose a barber other than Lanesha. Her disposition was cordial and pleasant but her skills were not as precise as I prefer.

Update: I went back and had another young lady cut my hair. -5.0 of +5.0. Yes that is a negative 5. I've not been scalped like that since u stopped going to great clips years ago. If you are next in line and a woman approaches you whose name starts with a V and the rest sounds like Val, run or politely decline. I could see my scalp on one side of my head and there were too many hairs that were missed in the back because she only ran the clippers across it once. My wife had to use our 🐕 trimmers to trim down the hairs. It looked like Edward scissor hands cut the top. I only wish that I was making this up. I had an inspection the next day and...
