On December 1, 2020 about 6pm, I went to Bojangles on S. Belair near the Food Lion. Due to the pandemic only the drive-thru was open and there was not a line.
I ordered the 8-pc Family Special with rice, beans and lemon-aid. When I got home the lemon-aide was dated 11/29/20, the chicken cold, over cooked and improperly seasoned; the biscuits, rice and beans were cold as well. To add salt to injury the cashier did not put the receipt on the box as usual, nor give me my change (since it was cents I did not make a big deal).
Unfortunately, I did not returned the food for a refund nor did I notify management; I just stated that we WILL NOT RETURN TO OUR FAVORITE BOJANGLES LOCATION on Belair Road. Because this was the second consecutive time that we had problems with our food.
I was going to let the incident go, but after eating 2 pieces of chicken, rice, beans and biscuit my husband was sick all night. NOW I AM FURIOUS!! What happened to the Quality Standards, Good if not Excellent Customer Service? Has the pandemic taken that away from us as consumers also?

There was one person ahead of me and after he ordered the lady left the register fixed his food while joking with him about being GA biggest fan. She continued to talk to him laughing and joking while even admitting she’s still waiting for his peach cobbler. Not once did she acknowledge me as I was waiting to place my order so I walked out, because I had to get to work. I tried to call and complain no one picked up the phone. I also called corporate number and there wasn’t a live person to speak with and I didn’t received a call back. It’s a shame people lack customer service these days! Please do your job and treat people fairly and stop wasting our time while you lallygag. They forgot the gravy when I called to tell them the person who answered the phone spoke to me the rudest I have ever been spoken to by a customer service person in my entire life. She literally spoke to me as if she had zero regard for her job or the customers. I will not be visiting this location again. I went into the store after the phone call to actually see the manager but neither the manager or the person I spoke to on the phone would come out and speak to me they made some other little boy give me my refund.
She had the audacity to tell me that they were busy and mistakes happen and I should just get over it when they left a $2 side out of my order.
