Eve's Garden — Local services in Evanston

Last week, I came down with a bad case of viral pharyngitis/tonsillitis. Since it's not strep or anything bacterial, that meant I couldn't get any antibiotics, doc said I just had to let things run their course. Well, I sing in a band and yesterday, we had a gig booked that I'd worked several years to secure. With the shape my throat and voice were in, I was afraid we'd either have to cut it short or cancel altogether and I certainly didn't want that. My husband, in a "hail Mary" move, went to Eve's Garden and asked for recommendations. They came up with three products (ThroatCoat Tea, Sambucus Elderberry Lozenges and NuNaturals Throat Spray), which, upon taking them home and trying them, immediately made a difference. We played the gig later that evening with nary a squeak, cough, hitch or rasp, and throat pain? Barely noticeable. Best of all, I'm feeling better than I have in days and can actually see some light at the end of the tunnel with this thing....

This place is a Gem! There aren't many healthy options for food/supplements/herbs in the area... for miles and miles. I'm so grateful to see a place like this exists in the area.

Our family has shipped here since my in-laws introduced me when I started dating my husband. We live out of town now, but when we're coming through, I always have some reasons to stop there, even if it's just a honey stick for the kids. I especially love the cinnamon fluoride free toothpaste. Magnificent! The shop is very friendly...
