I won't give them the pleasure of checking more than one star. Our experience at Wayne's is not over yet and has been horrible. Past experience on buying appliances were okay, but this last one was a night mare. Our boys purchased a dishwasher for us on November 30, 2020. It was installed and would not wash dishes. I called the store to ask if I was doing something wrong. The man who answered the phone said they were really busy and he did not have time to talk to me. The following week I went to the store with my son. They gave me a number and I had to make arrangements to call the Whirlpool tech person. The tech said we had a bad motor and would take 4 to 6 weeks to get a replacement. I was not happy with this, but waited then called the store twice and my son called once, they promised Sandy would call. When she did finally call, said she did not get the message. Told her needed to talk to her employees. Even told me they were making parts right and left but no offer to help in any way to compensate for selling us a defective dishwasher. I have called and e-mailed whirlpool several times and get no help from them either. A friend went in to express her displeasure and was told they did not have another dishwasher like the one we purchased. We were not given an option of a different or higher priced appliance. It has now been over 4 months and still not repaired. I did find out today the parts have been located, with no help from Wayne's or Whirlpool. The tech people have been wonderful. The motor but not the control panel was sent to us last week and the motore had pieces in the box. The tech said it can be used. Now I have to wait for the tech to get the control panel and schedule for the repair of at least two more weeks. Whirlpool told me they were sending a gift card--never received. Said they would extend the warranty--never received. I am done with Wayne's and Whirlpool and am finding out from others they feel the same way. They lost one sale recently of all new appliances from one friend. Maybe I will get to use the dishwasher before the warranty runs out. ...
Read moreThank you, thank you, thank you to everyone at Wayneâs especially Debbie, Sandy, Matt and Jace(?)! My refrigerator went out during the night, and since I never had to purchase a major appliance before, I went to the local big box stores and was not impressed with their stock nor the fact they contract out delivery to a third-party company. As I sat in the parking lot Googling appliance stores, Wayneâs Appliance came up as the number one rated appliance store. I was nearby so I stopped in. Best decision I ever made! Debbie greeted me immediately and we discussed my situation and the urgency of me getting the right refrigerator in a timely manner. They have great stock and I was able to purchase one within 15 minutes of my walking in the door. Delivery was set for three days later (the fridge was in-stock but they had all delivery times booked). Later that same day, Sandy called and said they were able to deliver it that day! Matt and Jace, who are employees of Wayneâs Appliance - not a third-party delivery company - were extremely courteous and took all types of measurements to determine which door to bring the refrigerator through. Once they removed the old refrigerator, they allowed me time to clean the area before placing in the new one. I was told many times by both Debbie and these two men that should I have any questions at all or any type of concern/problem, to give them a call anytime.
Wayneâs Appliance will now be my one and only go-to center should any of my appliances bite the dust! Oh, and by the way, their prices are in line with the...
Read moreWe purchased a LG washer and dryer set in May 2025 and it was delivered at the end of May. The dryer is no longer working. When I called 8/29 I was told that I had to contact LG and that Wayneâs couldnât do anything even though the dryer was only 3 months old. We were not told Wayneâs was not able to service LGs when we purchased the dryer. The service call from LG Warranty services went to a company in Owensboro who only services the area on Wednesday and Fridays and has been unwilling to work with us on service times. When I called to ask to be reassigned to another company today the representative from LG put my service request back in a queue and it appears now my service call was accepted by a company that looks to be in California and the wrong phone number is listed on text request from them that I just recieved. We have now been without our nearly brand new dryer for over a week and a half without an ETA. We went to Wayneâs to shop local and receive local support which is not what we have received. We are extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service we have received and at this point will never...
