ALDI — Local services in Evansville

We love Aldi. Great prices for a family. However the customer service I had today was horrible!!!! From time to time the site doesn't load or work .... Internet issues happen. This is our situation today for pick up. We have lots of issues with the Aldi pick up. So I went inside and found the first employee. I said excuse me, as 2 employees were talking and let them know we were having an issue with logging in to advise pick up we were here. The tall blonde guy said ok I will let them know. I turned and walked out. 10 minutes later a car pulled in and notified they were there. When the employee came out I hopped out to ask if she heard that we were there too due to connecting issue. She said. "No, no one came over the com." And asked for name on order. So after a few minutes I went inside to locate the 20 something. I saw the girl that was with the guy I informed when I came in earlier. I asked her who he is. She said Caleb, a manager. I let her know he sucks at his job and learn nothing from him. He failed at customer service and communication. That is your main job I am sure if no one came I'd have had to go in and ask again. Seriously if you can't follow through with what you say to a paying customer then you don't follow through on your job and tasks. I made the communication to let you know as a customer I am having an issue and you completely dismissed it and didn't take the concern seriously. I realize it's groceries. But it's also his job. He is paid to do a full complete customer service while on the clock. You were radios attached to you like cops. It's not like you had to hunt down a person, like I did you to let you know how I appreciated that my concern was not important so you failed to communicate. Anyway. If you need something at Aldi hope that Caleb the blonde is not working as he will not help you. This is not helpful when you are trying to follow a schedule. Anyway. Aldi's is always been a wonderful store but since I've actually remodeled it this store is amazing. They have the greatest prices on everything their selection of food keeps expanding. I love the fact that they have seasonal foods for different German holidays that are available. The quality of all the food is absolutely perfect and the variety is unlike you can get in any other store in Evansville. Some of the stores may be much larger but Aldi's carries everything you need. Make sure you check out the aisle with their specialty items like today there was an electric Wok there for a very good price I bought their appliances before and they actually are very good. If you shop there often and you will know that their specialty gift items run in a specific pattern the employees there are great and if you're looking for something they can usually figure out if they're going to get it in the next month or two. Employees are kind and courteous and always willing to help. The only thing I wish They Carried was some bulk food items and fresh ground peanut butter. It would also be great if they could get in with one of the grocery delivery services. I...

Aldis is a really good place to get some nice items for your pantry. Prices are well priced with a lot of good deals. The store is nice and the staff is pleasant. I always find what I need and more when I go. I have been going to this one for a very long time. It has been about 6 months since I have been there though because my car broke down. I am disabled and the prices are so good that the aisles are generally crowded. Usually a wait in line, but it goes really fast. I don't mind bagging my own groceries because I bag it well and the bags are cheap at 10 cents a bag or I can bring my own. I find soups, veggies, meat, cheese, ice cream, etc there for my liking. I also enjoy the sugar free carbonated beverages that they have as well. Treat yourself to some German chocolate items while you are there or some affordable wine as you go in the door.
