My sister and I came in for a pedicure. We are out of town from Virginia, and we saw this place near our brother’s house. While we were seated, one of the technicians, Danielle started my pedicure first, since the other techs were busy. My sister was seated soaking her feet for about 15 mins away while I was getting my pedicure. Finally, a male tech approached my sister, quickly apologized for the wait, and started rushing her pedicure. He finished at the same time as my tech finished my pedicure, even though my pedicure started way before. I felt as if the male tech who did my sister’s pedicure didn’t give her proper service. I brought this up when he was taking our payment. I told him that my pedicure started before hers, but he still finished hers at the same time as me. And then me made an excuse saying there was no other technicians available because they were busy. That did not address my complaint. I was trying to address to him the duration of my sister’s pedicure compared to mine, not who was available. Hers should’ve been the same duration of mine. I did not think this was fair, and the male tech was very rude. I don’t like how he treated my sister. She deserved to have fair service. We didn’t mind waiting for a tech, but the duration of the pedicure should never be rushed. Also, the male tech had the nerve to charge us both $33 when the price was clearly said on their page $25 for a regular pedicure. The male tech denied this. We will not be coming back here. Update to my review: I was so disgusted with the pedicure job I went to remove the polish to repaint myself at home and gel was NOT used. I used regular nail polish remover and it came right off. I should have known better when a UV lamp wasn’t used with the gel color. Do not waste your time or money.

I went in Saturday for a gel spa pedicure a gel manicure. It was on a bit of a whim, but I’ve passed the salon so much I thought why not give it a try. While at the salon, the technician didn’t shape/file my toe nails even so they very evidently crooked. She also smeared one of my big toes and instead of taking the whole thing off and starting over she just filled in the gap and used the top coat to try and smooth it over. They asked if I wanted dip instead of gel for my manicure which I hesitantly agreed. Once my pedicure (which was rushed) was done and we moved to the nail section I asked the price difference between gel and dip which she wouldn’t say and just kept emphasizing how dip is better. I then asked again the price and she said it was only X dollars more which was not clear, so I then said I just wanted a regular manicure and only clear coat. I don’t expect the clear coat to last but my cuticles were NOT cleaned and trimmed properly. $70 for a poorly done gel spa pedicure and basic manicure (before tip) is far too much. Do yourself a favor and keep driving. I wanted to have some dip removed and decided to give this place a try, that was my first mistake. I told the tech upon going in multiple times I wanted to soak the dip off and please DO NOT cut my nails. I finally had them looking the best they had in years. After soaking them off she starts hacking away roughly at my nails only to end up cracking half of them. Now instead of having any length she filed hem down excessively to make them match. I was upset and kept telling her she wasn’t supposed to cut them. She then upsold me a $20 pedicure that really ended up being $30. Apparently gel is $10 extra but please tell me first which she did not. I told her I wanted just a quick manicure and reshaping and next thing I know she is putting gel on my finger nails. I asked her what she was doing because gel doesn’t stay on natural nail. She kept ignoring me and doing her thing.i planned on maybe this whole thing would be $50 ish dollars. I was floored when I got to the register and was told $73. They insisted I had acrylic on my nails and it was more to remove. Fast forward not even 3 days later and all of my nails were chipped, cracked and polish coming off. Never again. Do yourself a favor and stay away. My nails are now all down to nubs again.
