I was disappointed, especially with how many positive reviews this place had. I went with my best friend, soon to be sister in law, and fiancƩ's cousin- who is also like another sister to me. I checked in and was basically ignored for fifteen minutes- no one said anyone would be with us shortly or even said the assistant was busy at the moment. I filled out the form and turned it in and was told nothing.
We get back to the room to try on dresses, there is no separate area to change. Luckily I wore nipple pasties in preparation, but it's a little awkward to be changing in front of your soon to be sister in law- I don't think she really needed to see my bare butt cheeks. I think it would be a lot more uncomfortable with someone who brought their mother in law or grandparents. Maybe they have the option of dressing in the room and the party being in the main room, but I was not given an option to change anywhere more private.
We then hear knocking on the door and thinking it's our attendant, open the door and it's a woman from a previous appointment looking for sunglasses. We helped her look but thought it was a bit inappropriate to bust in on another person's appointment. She left and left the door open, which mind you at this point I'm in a robe that doesn't hide much. We get another knock and it's a woman from the front desk also looking for the sunglasses. We explain the woman has already been in there and we helped her look, she leaves and also leaves the door open. Our attendant comes back with dresses and then also says she's looking for sunglasses- we explain again that two people have been in to look and she turns around and leaves- again leaving the door open (not to leave you in suspense- the woman found her sunglasses somewhere outside of the room). It was just a bit inappropriate and again- not private.
As far as trying on dresses, she was great in writing down dresses I was interested in, but it did seemed rushed and like she just wanted to get me to try on as many as possible. I've only ever been to one other shop, and the experience was very different. There wasn't a lot of asking what I liked or didn't like about the dress to help find the right dress. There also wasn't a lot of clipping to make the dresses fit me, so half of them were falling off of me and I had to ask her to clip them so I knew what they looked like if they fit me.
The nice thing was that I wasn't pressured to buy a dress, and she wrote down the information for the dress I liked. She handed me the card and basically said they could order in the color I liked and then said I can leave whenever and turned and walked away. It was just not a great experience and such a stark difference from the previous shop I had gone to, and I was really looking forward to trying on dresses with my new sisters. Even though both shops had the dress I ended up liking the best, I'm going to be ordering from the other shop just based on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just said yes to my dress this weekend!! I originally went a few weeks ago and it was my first stop based on personal recommendations and it was an amazing experience. I had Natalie as my stylist and she is AMAZING and really knows her stuff with her 15 years experience. I showed her a bunch of inspo pics that were all completely different that I wanted to try which she looked at for like five seconds and then pulled in dresses that touched literally every element I wanted to at least try. While trying on the dresses, she provided information about the dresses but let me & my crew discuss & come to our own conclusions about how we felt about it without jumping in one way or another with her opinion until after when she'd agree. Definitely preferred that than being swayed by someone going 'omg you look so beautiful!!' to every dress, knowing that they're just trying to get you to buy the dress. We had a private room which was so great and she didn't rush us through any dress at all, even ones that I was immediately like this isn't a top choice, she still gave time to sit in it to be 100% certain and hear my feedback on it, which after we got through the initial round, she went and grabbed a few more based on what I liked/disliked about the selections so far. When we left, there was NO PRESSURE at all. She knew this was my first experience and first stop and I was between 3 from there and needed to at least sleep on it. She wrote the info down, gave me her info, and just said good luck & just reach out with questions. I instantly get turned off by pushy sales people and she just really wanted to make sure I just was going to be buying a wedding dress that I wanted at the end of the day.
When I came back, she had my top 3 ready to go and I eventually said yes to the one I knew was the one literally the day after my first visit. Then, it was fun with pictures & champagne with no rush to leave/get out of the dress. Then the contract, pricing, & sizing was very transparent.
Overall, wherever I found MY dress was going to be where I got it but I'm just glad that I was able to support this store & Natalie as they really made the experience amazing, fun, & stress-free, which isn't the case for every shop! I would recommend this place to everyone to add to...

I had my first appointment on Sunday with Mia and went through 10 dresses and finally landed on one. I had a truly great experience and Mia listened to everything I asked for. This being my first experience shopping for a wedding dress I picked something that I felt safe with, a fit that was something that would hide any insecurities I had about my body. I went extremely safe.
By the time I got home I knew I made a huge mistake. This dress was supposed to be for MY big day. I am supposed to stand out, I am supposed to feel absolutely beautiful with nothing to hide. I couldn't sleep or eat thinking about my decision, I was terrified to reach out to anyone about changing my mind or the regrets I had.
Finally, early Monday morning I called and spoke with Natalie over the phone and spilled my guts to her. She was very sympathetic and told me I could come in that same day and talk through it, try on the dress again and even look at others. When I came in it was full service all the way! Donna, the store manager, met me in the front and we discussed my problems with the dress I picked yesterday, and decided to have me try on some different dresses! They listened to my concerns and didn't make me feel like a lunatic for second guessing my choice from the day before.
Dana compiled a list of all my wants, needs, likes and dislikes about all the dresses I tried on previously and then selected some new ones to try out. I was stunned by her picks, they all perfectly fit my vision! When I finally tried on the new dress, I had my WOW moment! I felt amazing, sexy and most important of all, confident in my body.
Dana and Natalie worked together to exchange my old dress for the new one with no issues and managed to stay below my budget! I could not be any happier!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! If you are looking for a place to find your perfect dress don't think even about anywhere else...just go to Bridal...
