First and foremost, this place is Veteran/Military owned which is a huge plus in my book! My girlfriend and I stopped in on a date night, and I can honestly say that I love this place. She ordered a cranberry Gin martini (seasonal item) and I ordered a whiskey flight (20% off for military).
The atmosphere is more upscale than what you would typically expect in Excelsior Springs, which is a very welcome addition in my opinion! Aside from MAYBE 3 other establishments, this is as upscale as it gets. You can tell they have a target audience, and I personally hope it stays that way!
I had the delight of being able to meet the owner while I was here, and he is a pretty great guy (Callsign “Sinner”) the lead bartender (Callsign “McParty”) is VERY knowledgeable in the products that are on hand, and you can tell he knows his whiskey if you start talking to him.
The bourbon selection is top notch for “budget” drinkers, which is perfect for this part of the state. While there could be a little bit more in terms of allocated selections, they still have an amazing selection.
If you’re looking for scotch or Irish, you might be disappointed… but this is a Bourbon bar overall. Their scotch selection is mostly Speyside, however they are looking into getting more options from Islay and highland areas. Their Irish selection, seems to be mostly Bushmills… which I cannot personally argue with. If Irish and Scotch are specifically what you’re looking for… I suggest you try some Bourbon.
Overall, this place is amazing in my opinion. This little town needs something like this. I hope anyone reading this takes the time to stop in!

Normally water. Just had to try a variety. AUDREY The General Manager was AMAZING, so social, friendly, professional, fun. Makes you...
Read moreThe atmosphere is great! And great people. This is a newer cocktail bar, so I'm giving them a 5 star review although it took about 20 minutes to get service, however there were multiple larger groups and the bar was full when we got here. The bartenders were quickly getting out drinks before we got service and our drinks came out quick once ordered. But the best part, the cocktails are outstanding. I had the gingerbread old fashioned. Top notch. Great little space with a great...
