What I love about Lightbridge Academy is how much my son loves going to Lightbridge. He feels so comfortable with all of his teachers that at the end of the day I have to chase him around to get his coat on because he does not want to leave. He is learning so much. He is 17 months old but he can use sign language to convey things like all done, please, thank you, an abundance of colors and more. He is using a lot of words and he soaks up everything they teach him like a sponge. They are really able to use fun and play games that really is teaching him skills and he does not even realize it. We are so happy with how close it is to home as well. The safety and security we feel as well due to their locked doors and protocols as well as the ability to watch my son whenever we would like via the video cameras is also a plus. As working parents we also appreciate the fact there are rarely days off and even when it may snow or is snowing they do not always shut dow n but wa it and see and when they do close they give sufficient time for parents to arrive. Our son started daycare at Lightbridge Academy this year when he was 15 months old. It was the first time we put him in daycare, as we had kept him indoors the whole time until that due to Covid. I was worried whether he would be comfortable and safe out of home. Thanks to the teachers at Lightbridge Academy, my son quickly adapted to the class and routine there and he is very happy to go to class and see his friends everyday. They do daily group activities, outdoor plays, water play and many other crafts with the toddlers during the days. I can see that my son is having a lot of fun, playing actively and learning many new skills day to day and he has also stayed healthy and safe so far at daycare amidst Covid. The center is very clean and the classrooms are spacious and have all day camera access. It is hard to put your trust in someone else’s hands when it comes to your children. I am so lucky to have found Lightbridge Academy because not only can I trust that my child is safe, but I also know she is truly loved and well cared for. No one at the school is a stranger. From the classroom teachers to the administration, everyone knows my daughter. From the minute we walk in to the minute we walk out (after she finally lets me take her home) my daughter is happy and giving hugs. Communication at Lightbridge is open and simple. They genuinely listen to any concerns or suggestions you have and either implement them or work with you to make you feel at ease. I’ve always felt that Lightbridge understands that all children develop at their own pace and they take that into consideration in their curriculum as well as in every day practice.
