This is not my normal location, but I was in the area & thought it would be easier to stop here on my way home & BOY was I wrong. I had THE WORST experience at this location 7/12/2019: First stop was the bakery; a woman behind the counter said 'hello' but did not offer any assistance. I spotted two desserts behind the glass I wanted to purchase; she continued to ignore me. Other customers walked up & she started helping them. I proceeded to tell 'IS ANYONE WORKING THE BAKERY?!' She called for someone to come out. Sigh. Filled my cart with awesome deals, as I was hitting up their weekly sale. The lines were long, as there were only two cashiers, so I headed to Self Check Out. Roughly half way through ringing my goods, there's an issue with a clearance item I scanned, so naturally it wouldn't let me ring anything else while I waited for a staff member to show up. It's at this point that I notice there's NO ONE at the helm of self check out, despite the fact that the four registers were constantly busy. I waited almost five minutes for someone to show up & fix the situation. If it hadn't been such a good sale I would have walked away. I continue scanning & my second to last item ALSO caused a problem; it was one of the desserts from the bakery. Now, NO ONE IS COMING. I DO NOT know how much time passed, as I was so angry at the lack of customer service throughout the entire store. I was directly across from customer service & he just COULD NOT be bothered. I finally had to walk over to the working cashier to get help. I don't ever want to go back to this location after such a sub-par experience. It's easier checking out AT WAL-MART than it was at this store. WAL-MART, PEOPLE! THE WORST PLACE ON EARTH! HOW IS THIS RALEY'S WORSE THAN WAL-MART? IT'S STATISTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE, YET IT IS...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI felt compelled to write about my experience today; as I was helped by Jack, who assisted me in the floral/balloon department. He helped me previously for my nephew's 5th birthday balloons about a month ago and was very creative and did a great job. Today I stopped in to purchase a retirement and birthday balloons for my Family, and Jack came up and asked if I needed assistance; in which he was extremely helpful. He took his time to make the presentation look nice, and even added a bag of candy at the end of the balloons to make it look very festive. I also saw Danielle F. who was very warm and friendly. It was great to see her after all these years! Extremely pleased and I am an avid fan of this store! (I also will note that it speaks VOLUMES about the reputation of a company when you have loyal employees that have dedicated years of service. My family and I were given the opportunity to talk to Jon the man who is pushing carts outside and itās insulting to think that a man who canāt hold himself up is being put to work in these conditions? Jon was pushing 2-3 carts at a time with a cane to help himself up. I went inside the store for a good 30 minutes and every single person on the register and bagging groceries were definitely younger than 30. Is there a reason why none of those people could go outside to do carts beside him? Truthfully, my family and I couldnāt just watch him struggle to do it so me and three of my family members went and grabbed some carts to push inside because itās extremely disgusting to have to watch that happen and turn my head.
