Globe Furniture — Local services in Fall River

I'm a former customer of Furniture City from 1970's to 1990's. Back when they use to have 3 to 4 rooms of furniture for a very low price! From reading the other positive reviews/experiences, I read positive experiences which everyone should have the opportunity to experience with Globe Furniture. My experience on the hand was a bit different but I would had liked to have the same positive and respectful experiences. I was asked to leave a review today although I hesitated but because I am a local guide, I hope my review will help improve customer service when it comes to talking to customers. I recently purchased a 7-piece dining set from Globe Furniture in Fall River. The set was delivered promptly, but I noticed some damage to two of the chairs after the delivery team had left. I called the store immediately, and the salesman was very accommodating, offering to replace the damaged chairs. I opted to bring the chairs back myself over the weekend. When I arrived, the salesman was helpful and ensured I was satisfied with the replacement chairs, even assisting with loading them into my car.

However, I had some reservations about my overall experience. During my initial visit, the salesman shared some personal and inappropriate stories, which made me uncomfortable. On the day of the exchange, he continued to share personal details and used disrespectful language. I want to be clear, at no point did the salesman make any inappropriate advances towards me; it was his choice of language and topics that were unprofessional.
