Store is clean and in person the staff is pleasant. But call them out on the interwebs and they get nasty. My girlfriend recently commented on a Facebook thread regarding the expired sell by dates and the owner (claimed to be) was extremely rude and arrogant towards her. This person was not bashful in telling her she was not welcome in the store and actually privately messaged her saying he printed her profile photo and was advising his employees to call the police to have her removed from the store if she ever went in. I highly doubt he went to those lengths but neither she nor I care as we will not be returning to the store.

As far as the product, buyer beware. Most everything in the store had expired dates. A bag of cheese popcorn I bought was 3 weeks out of date and the popcorn covered in green mold. Some outdated Coke was flat and tasted rancid. I looked on in awe at some frozen meats they had displayed in a freezer. The meat, without a doubt, had been thawed and refrozen. Ripe for bacteria growth believe it or not. Some chocolate bars I bought were fine to eat but you could tell after opening that they were old. The store is the former (Auction Store) store from Swansea. I've been shopping with Mike for over 6 yrs now. Ive saved so much money by shopping here, allows me to spend that extra money with my son and grandaughter. I have NEVER had any issues with any merchandise or groceries. Shopping here has cut my party expenses into a quarter of what it would be else where. I'm excited they moved closer to me. Mike and Destinee are honestly there for the community. They are amazing. If you dont care about sell by dates, this is the store for you. If sell by dates are what you think "makes it fresher": Google the FDA. They're trying to rid these nonsense dates. They're created to just make businesses more money. They have a much longer shelf life than people think. If you really want to save money on your food this is the place to go. Many people say stay away because items are outdated, this is deceiving. The dating is past the sell by date buot the use by date. They also have a 200% money back guaranty if the item is bad. The foods are good and the prices are better. The owner is a great guy, very friendly and helpful. Many specials and different items always. The new store is nice and roomy and easy to get around. Go to Family Foods first then the larger main food stores for what you can't get there, your savings will show without having to cut coupons.
