I had the absolute pleasure of getting a haircut and a straight razor shave from Shaina at Taylor Made in Fargo this past Saturday, and I can honestly say it was one of the finest grooming experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve been growing my beard since 2021, and hadn’t been clean-shaven since before 2018—my kids were absolutely jaw-dropped when they saw me. They didn’t even recognize me at first!

Shaina did an absolutely stunning job. Her precision with the straight razor was next level—it was smooth, clean, and done with the kind of skill you rarely come across. It’s not easy to trust someone with a blade across your face, especially after years of growth, but Shaina made the whole experience comfortable and relaxing. She was easy to talk to, kind, and clearly takes a lot of pride in her work.

I was referred to Tailor Made Barber Studio through a Facebook Mom Group since I was looking for a patient individual to help with my son's first haircut.

Shaina allowed my son and I to take a field trip in to check the place out before booking his appointment. She took the time to interact with him, blow bubbles and even gifted him some toy cars.

His hair naturally grew into somewhat of a mullet and we requested that she clean up the front, sides, and even out the back. His little "natural" mullet is super cute and the pieces in the front that were poking him in the eyes are now gone.

She informed us that she specializes in sensory cuts should we chose to go that route, but we opted to come during regular hours and she completed the cut while my husband stood and held our sweet little man.
