Food Lion — Local services in Fayetteville

I was in this beautiful afternoon to pick up a few things when little did I know I would be profiled as a criminal and this is my regular food store that I know most of employees and management. If not by first name bases differently by sight. Anyway my last purchase for the day was a pack of Eagle20 menthol cigarettes at the customer service booth. I sat down outside to smoke a cigarette before my walk home since I don't have a car. After the cigarette I realized I wouldn't make it home without going to the bathroom first. So I went back in with my bag of purchases from earlier and walked straight to the bathroom. As I was going through the bathroom door I was stopped by the blonde haired white female manager and told I would have to leave my bag outside if I was going to use the bathroom. I complied as asked, but here's the thing if she already followed me to the bathroom she could've waited for me to use the restroom and followed me back out the store. I am clueless as to what I was being accused of maybe doing with a couple bags of sugar, pack of cigarettes, and a pack of cigars that I had previously purchased and was all in one small bag. Maybe one of you can comment what law I could've been planning to commit with a purse, bag of groceries,...

I love their produce. It is always so fresh. It lasts for awhile unlike Walmart's. The people there are willing to help you if you have a question. At Walmart it seems if you have a question, the workers disappear. The meat is always fresh and tender as well. Lastly, they have cut deli meat in packages and labeled baskets and it is always fresh. If you want a different deli meat than what they have cut then you just ask and the deli personnel will cut it and weight it for you. Good experience...

So during my shopping my son “the reckless daredevil” decided to put his finger on the wheels of the carts, causing a burn on the finger, as soon as he started crying the Cashier Kayla quickly jumped into action to provide assistance, offering ice and other help, she did her best to help calm and distract him from the pain, she even offered to get him a lollipop and juice, and honestly that kinda of customer service and help blew me away, thank you Kayla, food lion is lucky to have you...
