Having the opportunity to serve my country at home and abroad, I had the experience to live in Japan and to experience the culture, the people, and the food. Upon coming back home after my service, it was difficult to find products and food like I did when I was overseas. I consider myself very lucky to have been able to find this store and the various unique products that they sell. When going into the store, it is not like your average experience of walking into a regular store...no, it's more like an adventure with every week a new treasure being discovered. The products that they have there is more of a nostalgia for me to where every slurp of ramen noodle and every bite of red bean cake takes me back to my time in Japan and the happy memories I shared with my Japanese friends while I served. Happy memories are what you experience and purchase with every visit to Sunlite. The new experiences I get to have with the staff as they explain to me the various products and what they would recommend is worth the 40 minute drive every week. Thank...
Read moreI went out during a day off with my mom and grandmother. I had seen their parent store, Sun Asian Market, posting about they would be opening a convenience store. I've always had positive experiences at their market and figured I'd support their new store, too. We dropped by and it was very nice! Had lots of snack, drink, and ramen options. They have some frozen options you can take home i.e korean mozarrela dogs and also things like condiments and ingredients/sauces for cooking. They even have toppings you can buy for your ramen. You can cook it there, too. They have indoor/outdoor seating. They even have a couple of novelty items such as cups, bowls etc that are character themed. Their Korean marinated eggs were delicious and I was extremely happy to find the viral mango ice cream! The young ladies there were super nice, the building was clean and organized. Will be visiting again when...
Read moreGreat store! Has a lot of familiar and new Asian brands that I have come to love. Really fun to look around and see all of the different products from the refrigerators, the pantry, the fresh food items, and the frozen. I love the space where you can warm up your own instant ramen and they even have a space in the refrigerated section where you can add some fresh new toppings! They have a hot barduring the day that you can try some onigiri! Come early for that! Will definitely come back! We got a chance to try a few different flavors of the instant ramen and test the quality. They all came out pretty good. The service was really sweet and even though it was busy they were able to keep a good pacing. A few spaces of seating by the windows and a few outdoor tables as well. The isles are really organized and you can find ingredients like bean paste, soup base and nigiri to make your own...
