Jim’s Gym — Local services in Fayetteville

I have been a member for a few months and joined to have access to some machines that my home gym was lacking. I love the machines and equipment Jim has! There is a great selection of high quality equipment; 2 new squat/bench functional trainer racks that have cable attachments, row machine, treadmill, free weights, battle ropes, TRX straps, heavy bag, shoulder/bench press machine, pull up/dip machine, leg press/squat machine and more. The place is never full so finding a spot to get my workout done is never difficult. Jim’s Gym feels more like a family gathering spot to exercise (or hike together or do yoga together) than other gyms I have been a member at. I always feel comfortable whether joining in on conversations or keeping to myself with my headphones on. One can and likely will be mid-rep and be stopped in your tracks with laughter from jokes. The owner/trainer, has one of the greatest senses of humor and a high work ethic, just be prepared to laugh…and be sore! The gym features a nice app triggered/auto locking entry so if I am there late and/or alone there are no worries about safety. Jim has done an excellent job of welcoming in folks like me, who may not use the services of the several very knowledgable trainers and just need a spot to get some work in. I highly recommend - I don’t really lift at home anymore because I enjoy this spot...

We invested in an all-in-one functional trainer rack for our home gym and love it. However, a home gym is pretty useless whenever we travel. My sister and brother-in-law moved to Fayetteville a few years ago, and although we don't see them as often as we would like, whenever we visit, we go to Jim's Gym and it's absolutely perfect for us. They have a couple of the upgraded version of the rack we have at home along with a host of other machines that allow for more optimal resistance curves that the functional trainer fulfills but is just adequate for. So while our home gym provides everything we need, Jim's Gym offers that along with everything else we would ever want to do. Jim is just the friendliest guy ever, the facility is always clean/organized, the equipment is "the good stuff" (Cybex/REP), and we love the flexibility their programs offer. If this existed back home in Texas I would still be tempted to go regularly even with the home gym as an option. Great place...

I started working out with Jim back in August of 2024. I had been doing group classes and felt like I had hit a major plateau as far as strength training went. A little over 7 months of working with Jim I am lifting my weight on several lifts, my cardio is strong, and I have toned up so much! I can testify first hand that he knows what he is doing. Jim is hands down a genuine person. You walk in and you feel like your at home. I have loved personal training so much i am pursing my certification in training.
