There are not too many instances, in today’s world, that a business stands by a high standard of product quality, attention to detail, and painstaking customer service. I am happy to say that 5IVEHOLE ticks the box for each of those criteria.

I have been in the role of jersey procurement for rec-league hockey teams for the better part of a decade, and the experience that I have had with Charlie and 5IVEHOLE is unsurpassed by any of the other companies that I have done business with. I was referred to 5IVEHOLE through the owner of ModSquad Hockey due to how impressed he was by a product demo with 5IVEHOLE. Being that My team and I were in the market for new jerseys, and having had a bad experience with our previous supplier, I was happy to speak with Charlie to see what 5IVEHOLE was all about.

What I can say is that, from beginning to end, my time working with 5IVEHOLE left me feeling like I was the most important customer to them. With other companies “doing the same thing” I have experienced being pushed to the side for the “big fish.” These other companies are your best friend until they get a large order from a professional team, college, or organization, then the “small stuff” gets put on the shelf until there is time for it again. While this may be sound practice for the company’s bottom-line, it alienates the little guys (read: me team) that are looking for something unique for their team’s uniform. This was never an issue with 5IVEHOLE, all of my emails were answered in a timely fashion, and we went from introduction to finalizing our final design proof in a little over ten business days. For those uninitiated, that is an insane pace to go from “Hello, my name is…” to “We are ready to get your jerseys into production.”

Furthermore, I cannot stress the high-level of quality that 5IVEHOLE delivers in their product. Having received the finished product, and having many other sublimated jerseys to compare it to, I can comfortably say that this hockey jersey is unsurpassed in fabric quality and weight, sublimated color application, quality of sewing, and overall product finish. The colors POP, there are no missed stitches which can lead to failure of seams, and the fabric itself (we opted for EliteKnit for weight and longevity) is both soft to the touch (comfortable to wear) but undoubtedly robust and tough. One of my favorite features of our jerseys is 5IVEHOLE’s own “Swagger/Stretch” collar. It is easy to miss something so small, but the collar is really well-suited for moving with the person wearing it instead of getting in the way or causing the jersey to bunch up uncomfortably. It can also be sublimated on allowing for unique and interesting details to be added to the jersey’s design. Another item of note is that each jersey was carefully sealed in individual bags, protected each jersey for shipping. But, unlike another company’s product, the jerseys did not come out of the bag smelling of a nauseating combination of garbage, gasoline, and sweat. The 5IVEHOLE jerseys simply smelled clean and read-to-go.

It is very fun to see 15 grown men have their eyes light up when they saw the new jerseys for the first time. Every single member of our team was blown away by every aspect of the jerseys that were put into their hands. Everyone had a little extra spring in their step as they stepped onto the ice that night.

All this to say that if you are someone that is on the fence about 5IVEHOLE, and the product and experience they offer, I cannot urge you strongly enough to let them have the opportunity to earn your business. I can promise you that you will not have a better start-to-finish experience elsewhere. This is not to mention that their prices are competitive with all the other suppliers offering “similar” product despite the fact that 5IVEHOLE’s finished product is of much higher quality. Personally, I will be coming back to Charlie and 5IVEHOLE for all of my future needs for hockey jerseys and custom athletic uniforms in general.

Buyer Beware: Don't waste your time with Charlie and 5ivehole. I contacted Charlie on 5/10 and specifically mentioned I was dealing with a very tight time constraint. Charlie promised me the world, even offered to send me a trial jersey (which he did, albeit 5 days later than promised.) I sent the jersey request for my entire team including sizing and logo. Was promised proofs the evening of 5/10 or the morning of 5/11. Still to this day after several unanswered/ unreturned phone calls and FB messages, I have yet to receive the proofs. I have never in my life had to try so hard to give a company money. So I have now wasted another week waiting for Charlie when I was already struggling to meet my season start deadline. Should have just used another company to begin with. Good luck calling them on the phone, I have tried calling 6 times during their business hours and they do not answer, ever! "Charlie and his team at 5ivehole are with-out-a-doubt the best in the business. The process went: inquiry email from me; same day quote from Charlie; pro-quality custom image 4-5 days later; same day design approval by me; jerseys on porch 14 days later. The jerseys are high quality dimpled material with tough stitching. The artwork is unreal. The colors are vibrant, the lines are sharp, and the symmetry is perfect. I'm afraid to say that, i would have been satisfied paying an additional $10-20 per jersey! They were that good! We may be a recreational hockey team, but we look like pros!
