I am only giving one start because I love the furniture I picked. Otherwise my experience with this store was horrible. I bought a couch and loveseat in February of 2017 and was told I could take delivery in 6 weeks as it was a custom order. I did not receive my furniture until the end of May. I received no calls from the store letting me know my furniture was delayed or what the delay was. I had to continue phoning the store to ask regarding updates. I went in to the store and attempted to cancel my order mid April when I still had not received my furniture and was told I could not cancel the order as it was a custom order and once the order is placed it cannot be canceled. So I called the company making the furniture and did not make any headway with them either. I finally received my furniture at the end of May and was very satisfied with the furniture. I was offered free delivery from store to home but at that point I did not want anything advertising I had bought furniture from this store so I picked the couch and loveseat up myself. When I took delivery I noted that one of the solid wood feet had a scuff and a gouge in it. I was told a replacement would be ordered right away at no charge to me and the manager “fixed” the damage with a furniture pen. I waited a couple weeks for the foot to come in and called to check on that. Was told it was on order and the manager had spoken with the owner and he wanted to give me a $65 gift card for all the trouble I went through so they were going to mail it. Needless to say I gave up calling about the foot of the couch and I never received the gift card in the mail. I live less than a mile and a half away from the store. Read moreI purchased two couches and two chairs from Fenton Home Furnishings. After waiting 10 months to get my furniture, both couches were totally defective. I contacted the store, and they sent a repair person out to assess the situation. He came back a second time and changed the cushion covers of one couch but not the second. When I complained that my back cushions didn't line up with the seat cushions, the white lining is showing from under the seat cushions, and the fabric was lose and wrinkled in many places they send the repair person out for a third time to basically change all the cushion covers, overstuff the cushions so they could try and get rid of the wrinkles. They even replaced the back fabric on the couches. I had to take three days off work to have them come and work on my my brand new couches. Wouldn't you think they would have the company rebuild my couches and rush them to me. The couches are still not correct and Fenton Home Furnishing is not taking any more action. I asked for money off if they can't replace them and they won't do that. I am not going to try and contact the manufacture. If that doesn't work I may go thru American Express and put in a dispute. Read moreI’m giving Fenton home furnishing a five star rating because they truly worked with us. worked with us. We purchased a flex steel recliner (manual not electric), when we got it home. It was very difficult to push the footrest part back down. I tried to live with the chair, which was specifically bought for me, and I was finding myself not using it because I was doing gymnastics to get out of the chair, in fact, my husband even said it was hard on him to push the foot rest down. We Decided to see if Fenton home furnishing could help us, and they said “we will make it right” and they did! We ended it up exchanging the chair for another one on the floor. Everyone in the store is super nice including the guy that put the chair in our truck which was heavy hard work. I will be needing a new couch and I will check with Fenton Home furniture first.
