AWFUL! If I could give zero stars I wouldāve.
Pros: The seats were nice, we were seated quickly, and the two young males were nice. Thatās about where the good things ended.
Cons: ā¢First, the nail polishes were so old and practically empty, so it was difficult to choose a color. They were so old it was difficult to open a bottle. All four of us sat down, and three of us were being serviced which was fine. But this is where the problem started. ā¢The lady Jennifer was very aggressive when cutting toes and tapping roughly to have you switch feet. She did not even give the tiniest amount of a massage. She used almost no lotion so it was basically the rubber gloves she wore just touching the foot. The hot washcloth was put on the leg then IMMEDIATELY TAKEN OFF. It was not even used as part of the relaxing process. When she was cutting the cuticles, she did so quickly and it cut my toe. ā¢My biggest issue by far is the tools (callus remover [cheese foot grader], scrubber, cuticle cutter, etc) she used on my feet WERE THEN USED ON MY MOM AND THEN A DIFFERENT PERSON. Not sanitizing the tools is so disgusting and since my toe was cut Iām now very nervous for all the diseases that can be transferred when things arenāt cleaned.
In total, my pedicure was 10 minutes long and cost $27. While this may āseemā cheaper than other pedicures, this was so expensive for the service received. When I asked if this was an express pedicure they said this was normal. Wish there had been current reviews that said this so my family and I couldāve avoided this place.
As we were leaving two ladies were walking in and nicely asked the main gentleman how long the wait was and he rolled his eyes at them ignoring their question and just restated for them to pick out their colors. He ignored the issues that we stated to him as paying. All four of us were in and out in 30 minutes which is crazy for 3 workers and 4 of us needing pedicures. AVOID THIS PLACE.
Not sure how they have regulars but if you are here on vacation, definitely look for another...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVERY impressed with this place. š š¼ I work in Blaine and unexpectedly broke an acrylic nail that I had done somewhere else. It was driving me crazy so I made a last minute appointment here to have them removed. They were very fast and sweet, always making sure I was comfortable. I liked the clean, welcoming, professional atmosphere and nice people so much that I made an appointment for 2 days later to come and get a deluxe gel pedicure. I usually have my nails done in Bellingham but this is my new favorite secret spot ;) they pay attention to detail and use quality polishes. Contrary to other reviews they DO in fact sanitize their tools. They were great about COVID procedures and have plastic barriers in place as well as a screening every time you come in. I was a little bit late and they were very gracious with me. Thank you NM I will be back and will let my friends know :) with business booming in Blaine Iām glad we have a high class option out here for travelers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne of the worst pedicures Ive ever had. I was excited to see this went under new management and prices seemed reasonable. First, she has the colors in brochures to choose from. One you select a color, she then goes and gets the polish. I specifically told her I didnt want a metallic color. I donāt think she paid any attention to the color I actually chose, because the color ended up being metallic! Itās also very dark in there, so it was hard to see. The other issue I had is that I had a specific appointment that I had scheduled in advance, but she kept going back-and-forth between me and another customer. The appointment was very rushed, she barely gave me any kind of a massage, and used rubber gloves, which I hate. She did not use a base coat or even a topcoat. She just put two coats of polish back to back and didnāt even let the first coat dry. She barely did any kind of a filing or cuticle treatment. It was just a really bad pedicure. I will never...
