Sugar and Spice Adult Novelty — Local services in Florence

They literally have denied us entry multiple times because we have a service dog (a real service dog) because the owner "doesn't want a dog in here and it's private property" (it does not matter if it's private property it is ILLEGAL to deny entry). I understand to a certain extent as I also would not want dog hair on any toys; however, she literally does not touch or contaminate ANY merchandise (it's her job to STAY with us) and we don't get to have the same rights that every other person that shops there does because we HAVE to have the animal that performs tasks for us present. I don't understand and I don't recommend shopping here. That being said, you could tell the employees that informed us looked extremely apologetic and I do not hold any frustration towards them. Seems like bad business practices from an owner's POV though...

I've been here several times and always had a great experience. Friendly staff, good selection, etc.

I was really bummed the other day when I went and saw that you are now cash only. I was told that the card processing fees were "eating them alive".

I've been to other small businesses who pass those fees onto customers if they choose to use a card. I would have totally understood this. However, if you lose a sale because of only accepting cash, it seems you'd lose more in the long run.

I was told they had an ATM machine, but I dont pay ridiculous fees for out of network ATM machines and rarely carry cash.

I hope this policy changes, so that I don't have to stop supporting a small business and shop...

I HAVE NORMALLY GONE THERE ABOUT ONCE A MONTH NEAR THE FIRST OF THE MONTH. THEY ALWAYS HAVE A VERY LARGE SELECTION OF TOP-QUALITY ADULT TOYS LINGERIE AND OTHER MERCHANDISE. EVERY EMPLOYEE I'VE EVER BEEN IN THERE AND DEALT WITH HAS BEEN VERY FRIENDLY FROM THE MOMENT I COME IN THE DOOR. THEY'RE ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT ANYTHING I'VE ASKED ABOUT TO DO WITH ANY OF THEIR MERCHANDISE. I'VE HEARD PEOPLE SAY THEY'RE LITTLE PRICEY BUT THEY'RE NOT THEY HAVE TOP QUALITY PRODUCTS GREAT FRIENDLY PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES AS WELL AS THERE'S A LONELY PLACE WITHIN 60 MI ROUGHLY TO BE ABLE TO SHOP FOR ADULTS TOYS...
