Excellent food and very friendly staff/owners. I've tried gyros, rice, fries, burgers and Philly cheese steak sandwiches from here. The rice is well seasoned with multiple layers of flavor. Any fried foods are perfectly cooked and don't have excess oil on them which I really appreciate.
These guys are a great option for Mediterranean food. And their more casual American menu options such as burgers and Philly cheese steak are juicy, and a generous size as well as packed with flavor. I particularly like sesame seed burger bun. Prices are fair too, for the burger combo the cost is close to or cheaper than many big franchise fast food restaurants. I like calling ahead and using the pickup window since there's virtually no wait, no line wrapped around the building, etc.
Drinks do come in 12 oz cans and time I'm writing this but I actually like that because I don't particularly like ice in my drinks and you never have that situation where you get a coke and it's low on syrup and it to tastes like carbonated water.
I really like this place and I hope they get to...
Read moreFirst time coming here and was very pleased with my overall experience. As someone who loves gyros, I got the gyro combo with fries and a drink. Gyro was very well made and full of toppings, like crisp vegetables and very tasty gyro meat (a mix of lamb and beef I believe). fries that it came with were crispy, well seasoned, and freshly made to order. Also came with some tzatziki sauce on the side as well that was full of flavor. Other members of my dining party got the chicken shawarma and were very pleased with dishes as well. The owner, Ali, came out and gave us some free samples of some new wing flavors they were working on and asked for our feedback. I was very surprised by this but happily tried their wings, which were exceptionally tasty, with a very crispy skin but juicy and flavorful on the inside. Staff overall were very welcoming and provided fast and friendly service. I plan to be back again and try the rest...
Read moreTum Tums is the best Mediterranean food that I have had since I left Atlanta~ I was not sure what to expect at this new restaurant in the old Wendy's/Donut shop, but I was absolutely amazed & delighted!
I had the most exquisite stuffed grape leaves, with a tantalizing mix of spices & I can't wait to go back for more. Their Greek salad was absolute perfection! The salad was almost chopped, so the ingredients were perfectly mixed in every bite. Their Gyros. Falafels and Shawarma are gourmand heaven! They also have fantastic hamburgers & chicken wings for any member of your party who doesn't love Mediterranean food. Tum Tums is family-owned & the proprietors are friendly & helpful & the restaurant music sounded like Mediterranean Jazz & I can't wait to hear more of it! I'd also like to mention that the restaurant interior may be sparse, but they can accommodate large parties & it was...
