Cable Park Shopping Center — Local services in Folsom

This was Dennys, went here after work a month ago will not be returning. Entered about 730 pm intending to order take out. Was met by waitress telling me they were closed very rudely. I asked excuse me thats not what your hours say.. She claimed it was a special circumstance I said ok, how come its not posted no answer. There where people seated just getting their orders. I asked if I could still order to go she said yes. I placed my order left my son to wait, and ran to rite aid. Came back 20min. later only to see no order, and two new customers waiting for orders. Sat down and waited both of them received their orders and left. I was passed I followed the last guy out and asked him how long he had waited. He told me 20min. I went inside to ask what was going on the waitress was just handing the food to my son like nothing was wrong. she hurried away when I saw her. I followed her, and asked to speak to a manager she said there was no one there asked for when he'd be there and phone no. She told me to get out or she'd (Chelsie)call the cops. Told her to go for it, but I was leaving anyway. it took them an hour to get me my order food was room temp., and a rip off paid $5.00 for onion rings and got a total of five????? needless to say called next morning to talk to manager never got ahold of him. will not be back and telling everyone I know...

Wow, this location is a small diner/restaurant. They only have one restroom, which the employee has to open it for themselfs for you to use. Apparently, they can't trust their customers with the door code. Once inside the restroom, the light sensor is broken, so you have to like keep moving around so that the light stays on while you're inside. It was warmer inside this establishment than what it was outside. NO, AC was on inside the dining area, I hope the employees in the back were at least cool, being that they were cooking. The counter person was pleasant even though we placed our meal order at the kiosk as we walked in. Our meal was prepared pretty quickly and was still hot when we began eating, which was quick due to the heat inside. I don't think I will return unless it was drive-thru. Nice little park with cement loops but not desirable. Known for combative seniors/retirees calling for petty disturbances; children misbehaving, loud music, bicycles on path, dogs off leash and sometimes, imaginary and sometimes, nothing. Watched as authorities questioned a father & daughter nicely playing tennis. Dad was teaching daughter how to play. No idea why they called the cops on them. I was questioned. Actually watched how Dad showed daughter how to serve-it was impressive. Was there the whole time saw nothing wrong. Just crazy. Some folks need something to do or maybe just stay on their meds. Thats what makes this park a 2 star. Retired...
