I have lived around here for 18 years but have never been to this park and that's why I chose it. My dog and I came in the early evening on a hot early June day. We walked around the field until we got to the playground where I got my dog to climb the structure but refused to slide.... oh well. Then we continued on to the dog park area and since no-one was there I pet him go. He has embarrasing behavioral issues and I need to take him to obedience classes. He was a rescuer and the most stubborn dog I have ever had.... think it's little man sindrome. Read moreI have unfortunately seen drug deals on more than a handful of occasions right in the parking lot. Homeless people are taking up the grass on the North end or far South picnic tables. New dog park is nice but many bully dogs in this park to feel safe with bringing in small dog. Dogs have been killed and mauled near main field area here... I have had to pick my dog up to avoid him being attacked on field as well. I'd say the park is getting better since the new dog park and added pickle ball courts X2. 1 tennis court is all they have now but not many use it.
