We started with the samosas, and wow โ they were on another level! Hot and crispy on the outside, perfectly spiced filling inside, and that magical โtime releaseโ effect where the flavor hits you a few seconds after the first biteโฆ OMG, pure heaven! ๐ฅโจ
Next up, the Aloo tikis โ so good I finished two in one go! ๐ฅ๐ฅ And let me just say, the Tamarind sauce deserves an Oscar award ๐ฌ๐ โ tangy, rich, and the perfect complement to every bite.
To end on a sweet note, we tried the Mango Lassi ๐ฅญ๐ฅค โ creamy, refreshing, and absolutely hit it out of the park. Each dish was so authentic it reminded me of the dhabas back in Punjab! ๐ฎ๐ณ๐

ย ย ย Read moreFirst of all, service was amazing: the owner/chef and other staff were wonderful, super friendly, and you just couldn't have had any better service and attitude from them.
Atmosphere: It was a really hot day, so pretty humid inside but they had fans to compensate so they did what they could, aside from that the restaurant itself is wonderful and very calm.
Food: I am vegetarian so I can't speak for the meat options, but we ordered Paneer Tikka Sizzler, Paneer Tikka Masala, and Malai Kofta (latter two on Medium spice) with Garlic Chili Naans. The sizzler was amazing, the flavor and bbq smokiness from it was otherwordly and made me ascend lowkey. The Chili Naans were insanely good, and a real step up from traditional Garlic Naans. The Paneer Tikka Masala and the Malai Kofta weren't too spicy, but they were kinda spicy. (If you're looking for indian food that isn't spicy then you aren't looking for indian food...) All in all, this place is amazing and whenever we come to Folsom we always come here.
TLDR: Nice staff, heavenly food (however it will be a bit...
ย ย ย Read moreThis place use to be great but since the change of ownership the quality is horrible. I ordered over $40 worth of food and only found a couple of pieces of meat in the three curries I ordered. Seems like the new owners are very cheap. The food taste very watered down and bland. THIS IS NOT REAL INDIAN FOOD. Save your money and go to a real Indian restaurant otherwise you will get scammed. Overpriced and absolutely no quality or respect for their customers. When picking up the food a couple was in wanting to dine in but were rudely declined, instead the server said it's take out only. Makes sense since they want to scam everyone into giving little food and very little meat. I might as well have ordered vegetarian. VERY DISAPPOINTED, WILL NOT RETURN HERE AGAIN. Will take further action against this "restaurant" so they stop...
