Raley's — Local services in Folsom

Everything about Raley's supermarket is pretty much the same as the other supermarkets. The employees are pleasant and courteous, the store is clean and well organized. But the reason I only give 2 stars is because of their pricing. They have signs everywhere telling you how much you are saving by shopping there, this is a boldfaced lie. Example, Chobani yogurt is said to be on sale for $1.29 each, but this is only a mark down from their over inflated price, but Walmart has the exact same item and its every day price is $0.98, 31 cents less than Raley's sale price! And pretty much everything in the store is that way. I'm pretty sure this kind of misleading advertising is illegal, not just bad business. DON'T use Raley's Premium Cube ice, it's absolutely filthy, I put it in my water bottle and there is stuff floating at the bottom at...

Nice clean store with helpful employees and the customers I encountered were pleasant. Even the customer that pointed out to me that I was approaching a "10 items" regester with about thirty items did it in a way that was almost amusing. Carts are rounded up and brought to the front door often, the parking lot is kept clean, there are usually towelettes available for germaphobes to wipe their carts. An all...

I heard about 10 years ago this Raley's was going to be shut down......What's the hold up? this place is gross, there is NEVER any more than 2 people working at registers and it take FOREVER to check out! No self service line. I only go hear when I'm desperate and I really just don't think I am truly this desperate...Oh and It's More expensive than my really nice Raleys...
