Groovy's — Local services in Forney

UPDATE- Amanda wrote back on my review and is clearly defending the employees, I have reviewed other reviews that say the EXACT SAME THING about the employees at Groovy’s. Employees start following them and making them feel uncomfortable as well. And yes one employee was putting up clothes but the one in the white shirt was hiding behind me the entire time. We are not stupid! We know when someone follows us and makes us feel uncomfortable! Were you the lady in the white shirt that day? Not sure, but that woman with the long white sleeve shirt did make me feel uncomfortable! I went and spoke to friends about this and they also said that’s the same reason why they stopped going as well! So please don’t come to me saying that they were just working cause they were chatting up a storm not doing anything before I got there.

Wow, I just left from the Forney location. There were 2 girls talking by the register when I arrived with my child. As soon as I walked in they made me feel SUPER uncomfortable by following me the whole time! I have shopped here numerous times, and I ended up leaving early cause how uncomfortable they made me feel. I was hoping to look around and get some new clothes for the fall but that was not a good experience! If yall think every person that goes in there is going to steal, yall should invest in cameras. ZERO stars if I could! I have never been so disgusted by a shop in my life and I’m from NY!

I am a white female. I was with two people who were not. From the moment we stepped foot in the door, one woman ran to the back of the shop to WATCH us and it was very apparent we were being profiled. Without knowing WHO we were, how dare you think we were going to steal! Not that I feel the need to explain it, but want you to understand your poor treatment of anyone. The woman I was with is a BAD A$$ military veteran and we had her son with us who has Asperger syndrome. He is one of the kindest souls you could meet. Just because of his appearance and how he decides to feel comfortable, you JUDGED! Shame on you all!

The other reviews on here with your bad welcome and attitudes are not lying. Your 5 star reviews are fake and probably friends and family.

I will never be back. I hope you learn to accept people for who they are and not assume everyone is there to steal. You’re losing valuable business, but you clearly don’t care. Don’t even try to make any excuses and give a bunch of blah blah. It’s lies to make people shop there. Good luck, true colors...

I'm new to Forney and discovered Groovys when driving past it to run the track. When I walked in, I was not greeted by either of the two women behind the counter. I could hear them whispering so I turned and saw they were watching me. Still no greeting or offer to help. Three separate customers entered, as I shopped. I noted all 3 were greeted & offered help. I walked past the counter & pointedly looked at both women, who made eye contact but did not acknowledge me, once again. Extremely rude, no customer service, and I will not be back. That's a shame for you, the owners, because I love to shop. What rude ladies - you need to learn some manners. I will tell everyone I come across not to patronize your business.
