My experience was less than pleasant to say the least. We went there earlier to check into switching services. I was told my iPhone 8 Plus is non-transferable...? What? Since when? After listening to the “reason” why I ask to buy the exact same phone only to be told they do not have it in stock. We settle on financing two very expensive phones and are then told all Metro PCS’s are experiencing a computer shut down and she cannot start my service. Ok...Wouldn’t that have been something to state when I arrived instead of after I’ve spent the time to pick out phones and fill out financing info...? She takes my name and number and says she will call me when the system is back up. Hours go by and no call so we decide to stop back by. System is back up but I never got a call. Again, I overlook the poor customer service and continue on with attempting to set up service. They retrieve the phones we were interested in from earlier and attempt to start the set up. First, the only Samsung 9 they have in stock is ringing up as an already active phone that cannot be sold. We wait as the cashier calls his manager who also cannot figure out how to sell the phone. Secondly, we attempt to move on to get the phones for our kids. Our daughter expresses interest in the iPhone 6 Plus which is a model on the floor only to be told they don’t have it in stock. Ok what about the regular 6 which is also a model on the floor? “Nope we don’t have that one either” So she decides to settle on one of the free option phones and upgrade at a later time. The sales person recommends 3 different phones from the free selections. We pick out one for our kids while they figure out how to sell the Samsung 9 only to be told none of the phones they recommended for our kids were not in stock either...Seriously? You’re a phone store! What phones do you have? Over it at this point I ask if we can go to a different store for a better selection of phones and they recommend one of their corporate stores in either Mesquite or Garland. We get ready to go and my husband asks the sales guy if that’s all our stuff and he says yes. We leave and drive 30 mins to Garland to get a call from the sales guy in Forney stating he forgot to give me my ID back! So now here we are heading 30 minutes back to Forney to pick up my ID, no phones and definitely frustrated. Thanks so much for all...
Read more5 stars for great staff...Arianna and Kate ROCK!! After dealing with little to NO help via other Metro locations and the customer service line, Katie and Arianna here at the Metro in Forney were God sends!! They tried everything they could to help before I had to file an insurance claim. After my claim went through & I received the new phone I was not able to activate by following the instructions sent to me. After being on hold for more than 30 mins with customer service, I went back to this location frustrated & done dealing with these issues that I did not cause. Katie and Arianna were so great getting my new device activated and even had their own phones holding calls with customer service for me. Thank you ladies for helping to fix this nightmare. This is the only location I went to that actually tried to help me....
Read moreVery upset about my experience! I went to get a phone activated. I was told I could add it to my existing plan with NO changes! Surprise! I can't use my hot spot! I Call and she says she always mentions about the hot spot no longer being available. I use hot spot Everyday, had she said that in the beginning I wouldn't have agreed to add it to my line. And now I'd have to pay an additional $50 to my bill to add the hot spot back! I tried to get another turned on so she charged me but then the phone was not able to connect so she tried to say she isn't allowed to refund! But she'll make an exception this one time! Like excuse You, this is your fk up! You should have activated it first before...
