My wife and I wanted to frame a stained glass Christmas scene, about 32 x 24 inches. The piece was slightly warped due to not being stored properly while framed only in a soft, lead frame. The framer, Janet, allowed the piece time to flatten over a period of some days while lying on a flat surface. Being a piece to hang in a window, she was attentive to the fact that it will be viewed from both sides. Janet's advice about choosing a frame that picked up certain colors and textures in the scene was right on the money. I spent about 20 minutes appraising various possibilities, only to discover that the frame she had suggested in about a minute was exactly the right one. (She was very patient and helpful while I explored other options.)

Our glasswork is now securely and sturdily framed; it looks great, with wood to match the color of a cabin central to the scene, along with a thin gold strip that brings out certain highlights in the picture. The piece is now safer, easy to hang in our front window, and looks splendid! I'm happy to give your shop an A+ for your efforts on our treasure. First, I had two original acrylic paintings that had minor damage and needed updated frames. These two pieces belonged to my Dad and are very special to me. Wendy helped pick fantastic frames for them that I would have never considered and then did an outstanding job on the restorations! Her team did a wonderful job with the frames and they turned out beautiful!! They are pictured first below.

Next I had a bunch of different stuff...some prints, a poster, and an original photo of mine. Wendy took the time to help me choose the right frame and matte for all of them. One of the St. Louis prints below had already been framed and they matched the frame and matte perfectly! The quality of work and attention to detail is top notch.

My experience with The Fine Art and Frame Company has been outstanding. Recently I received a few unique pieces that I wanted framed for protection and display. The care and quality of work was perfect. Additionally, I then asked to have several 50 year old photos enlarged and printed. Despite their age and format, they were able to make them look fantastic, and really added to the period charm of my home.
