Let me start off by saying this is my main grocery store. Not only because I live close by, because when I lived down toward Covington, I still drove up to this location. Iām now in Villa Hills and I could go to Erlanger, but I still prefer Fort Mitchell. The store is always clean. The ambience is great, and most of the time I get great customer service. From the deli, to the ābutcherā I am treated as a friend. Iām sure people have bad days (as we all do) but Iāve not experienced any lack of friendliness on those days. THAT is more important than most people realize especially with the grocery store since itā is somewhere you visit at least once a week, at least for myself. I decided to write today because instead of doing pick up as Iāve been doing 80% of the time since theyāve started it, I went in to do my shopping. I like self check out, but when I have a lot of groceries, I do prefer to be rung up and bagged because it is a lot of work. I was setting my stuff up onto the belt and at the same time I happen to have a tube of jelly in my hand. I saw something dripping onto the floor and assumed it was jelly, cut to the end, it was not⦠I was bleeding. I had apparently cut myself on one of the wrappers or bags and it was a pretty heavy bleed. Zach, whoās always a pleasure during checkout, asked his bagger, Baldwin to go and get me a Band-Aid. Zach was on top of making me feel comfortable and telling me it was no big deal, making sure I was taken care of. Getting me paper towels and still ringing up my groceries in a timely fashion. Baldwin (who was also very helpful) showed back up with a Band-Aid and it was as if it never happened. I canāt say Iām surprised because, especially with Zach, I always feel comfortable and at times I can be a bit anxious because if Iām in the store on a workday, Iām trying to take business calls at the same time as being in the grocery store and if he notices that he always is super attentive and it actually brings my anxiety down a notch! I wanted to write this review to give the store as a whole an A, but also to give Zach an A+! I just wanted to be sure to give this location the recognition they deserve AS WELL AS pointing out the consistent, GREAT service I always get with Zach. Thank you Zach, & Baldwin! You made an uneasy situation almost like it never happened, so thank you. To the managers; Keep up the great work, without great leadership the employees would not be prone to always want to be so friendly and so helpful, while being happy to help! It does NOT go unnoticed. Also, I usually always find all the products on my list in stock and the store is always clean and organized. Needless to say, I will be back!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been coming to this pharmacy a little less than a year and I usually have a good experience like one time the pharmacy was about to close and a very kind lady let me pick up my prescription so I appreciate her and I forget her name but I am giving a one star because twice now I have called the pharmacy and they have told me that my prescription is ready to be filled and picked up and when I drive the 30 minutes to get here they tell me that insurance will not cover it until the next day. This has happened to me twice now two months in a row. I called the pharmacy on Monday. They said I could pick it up on said day I called that morning and spoke with a female and she let me know that they were filling it and I could come pick it up in 30 minutes. I get here and they are not able to fill it with insurance covering it until the next day I would have had to pay out-of-pocket. I was very nice the first time, but the second time I expressed my frustration and the pharmacist came over and explained to me the situation, but they need to train the staff to inform the patient that insurance will not cover it until said day. Itās common sense that you want your insurance to pay for your script and not pay out-of-pocket for it. The pharmacist literally walked away from me and so did the technician. I sat there for a few minutes until the technician came back and I let him know I was going to pick up my other scripts that were ready. The pharmacist was very rude, like I was a burden to him. What was a burden is me driving 30 minutes to pick up a prescription that they said would be ready to pick up. Iām not sure of his name. You couldnāt hear anything the technician was saying. It was a younger male. Iām sure he remembers me. They did put the prescription on high priority and I was able to pick it up the next morning. My point is they need to have better communication with their patients. Iām giving them one more chance and if something happens again, Iām going to find another pharmacy to go to. The pharmacist made me feel very stupid and unappreciated. I was not trying to be rude or anything to him I was just trying to express my frustration And he kept talking over me. I work in healthcare as well, and I would never talk to a patient the way he made me feel. Same with the technician who also walked away from me. I understand working in a pharmacy is very busy Iām sure they get yelled at a lot, but in my opinion, I was very nice. I was frustrated, but I was nice. And Iām pretty sure it is the same girl that has told me twice that itās ready when itās not I want to say her name is Kaitlin. But thatās the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have shopped at this Kroger for two years. I always thought it was decent but other Krogers in the area do have noticably better service. We typically do a pickup order 3 or 4 times a month. For the last year or so this Kroger has given wrong items or missed items completely without substitution notes. I often get double items without being charged double but that's not my problem I guess. The commercial talked about orders bagged with care. Never once has a pickup order been bagged nicely. They don't even put many items in bags and they are always rolling around in the back on the drive home. Recently I was overcharged by a large amount for no discernable reason on top of having an unfilled item that did not get tagged properly so I wasn't asked about a substitution and I was charged for it. Spencer the manager argued with me for 25 or so minutes telling me he doesn't know why the order messed up all the while refusing to refund me the full amount bc he disagreed that I was charged for the missing item. After a lengthy stressful argument he finally refunded me more than I was due. I was thankful they took the time to make it right; however, shopping here isn't worth the trip to the service desk almost every time.
On a side note a pharmacy worker shut the gate on a line of people looking to pickup prescriptions around closing time and very rudely proclaimed they were closed and couldn't help anyone. She also gave an opening time an hour different from the website so that wasn't...
