Brenden Theatre Avi — Local services in Fort Mohave

After waiting a year to see the latest Hunger Games "Mocking Jay" at Brenden today. We purchased our 2 tickets, a bag of popcorn and a soft drink from the theater manager (on duty on a Saturday). After waiting for the movie to start about 10 minutes happily munching on our popcorn... Once it started it seemed to be a little dark.. Star Wars dark... but the movie opens underground and in a hospital. after about 25 minutes we were convinced something wasn't quite right about this film or was it the theater? My wife went outside and asked if the film was supposed to be so dark and was told one of the projector bulbs was out causing the movie to be darker than it should be. She spoke to the manager "Steube" and said HE should have told us when we purchased the tickets, popcorn and drinks. we wanted our money back - and he told he would check out the projection room. The usher came through and told us to see the manager if we wanted our money back Well after watching 45 minutes of the movie and still eating and drinking their stuff - and the movie was already spoiled for me, and continued watching the remaining 1/2 of the movie (otherwise I would not return to see any of it) When the movie was over the Manager "Steube" refused to refund us and was a jerk as well. Told us we should have gotten up immediately to receive the money back. Or we could wait around another 1 to watch it on another screen therefore making our Brenden Movie experiance nearly a 5 hour ordeal. NO THANK YOU Brenden - here at the river we have other choices to enjoy a QUALITY movie experiance The Riverside or the Outlet mall. NEVER - EVER returning to a Brenden property.. lost me as a customer for life! Thanks for ruining the movie for me Steube - you could have told me going in the movie quality...

Dune 2 today. The place itself is very dirty and dingy.

Opening scene, I had to have to volume turned up so the voices could be heard.

The screen in theater 3 itself is ripped on the top along with a huge thrown soda stain dead center of the screen.

The screen was off center and out of focus. I asked to have it refocused and centered. It was focused decently enough but definitely not HD at all. The dynamic range was really bad. The dark scenes had no detail, just black. Didn't look that way in the other theaters I've seen it in.

The ceiling exhaust fan was clicking the entire movie and needs to be replaced.

People on their phone and conversing the entire movie I directly confronted and asked to be quiet. They did not.

Management did not remove or even address them after being alerted to it.

Normally, I'd let bygones be, but this was an excruciating experience for anyone with sensory issues and an expectation of decorum in the theater.

$30 for 2 MATINEE, medium popcorn, and a large soda was an absolute sham for that kind of veiwing experience.

Will never be returning to view a...

The safety lights for the stairs are red and are so bright they shine on the screen and reflect off off the light fixtures on the walls. Over priced beer. 625 for 12oz no matter the brand. The big cups fit way too tight in the cup holders. Twist the cup out of the holder when you pick it up. Not to mention no real food options.

Go early to buy tickets. They are way understaffed. And you have to buy tickets at the snack bar if you didn't get them online. I went to a 7 o'clock show and almost missed the beginning of the movie. I was in line for about 25 minutes.

And if you shush someone for being loud and rude and they throw popcorn on you don't throw a beer on them or security will act like you're the problem and...
