My favorite grocery store in fort smith...maybe ever. I've been shopping at Wal-Mart since I've moved here from Jacksonville Florida. It seems as though harps swooped down and saved the day. In a time where it seems as though all smaller grocery stores have disappeared do to big corporate giants like Wal-Mart taking over every aspect of the retail industry I found harps. I'm never going back to Wal-Mart for grocerys again. The prices are competative and even if they were a tad more expensive I feel better putting my money towards a store that not ran by a bunch of billionaires who have never known what being a smaller guy is. The bakery and deli are my favorite parts, it's nice to have a deli and bakery that feels like a legit deli and bakery and not just an extension of a huge store. I've worked for Wal-Mart and nothing is made in house. At harps the bakery does a lot of in house deserts...which are amazing, the fried chicken in the deli is ON POINT. Read moreThis Harp's location offers so much in variety for just about any type of customer that walks in their doors; even some specialty items that their main competitor does not offer. The employees, including the managers are predominantly super helpful and they are friendly. The managers and most of the employees will go out of their already busy way to help a customer find a product or find out if it is out of stock. They will even go to the back stock and dig through boxes of new shipments to help satisfy the customer. I appreciate this store very much. I just visited again (2/26/2021) and Harp's has a new item in I'd like to share with those of you who like wonderful sounding chimes; @Harps Grocery store on 74th street in Ft. Smith has new stock in, just in time for you to dress up your home for spring. New beginnings deserve new cleansing sounds. The craftsmanship is fair and acceptable; the sound quality is surprisingly...

We were like hey!! We just spent that much on groceries. So I went in and talked to a really nice lady at customer service. She said that she would call her manager. I told the manager the situation and understandably he asked me for my receipt. I told him my receipt was at home but I'd be happy to come back in the following morning. Instead, he bagged me a 12 pound turkey and said Happy Thanksgiving!! Awesome...
