A lot of double standards and favoritism when working here. I was working here through an employment agency and terminated under false reasoning. In terms of attendance, I never missed a day nor went home early during the three months I was there yet there are people hired in who consistently miss days each week and go home early including some leads. They say there is no quota and yet they terminated me due to performance. I know for a fact on the daily written order tracking sheets I was packing more boxes than some people and taking larger orders at that and was told I was doing a good job by multiple people. I was never written up nor had any warnings. I wasn't even given a chance to get my own belongings. There were two days in which I told my supervisor I would take a longer lunch because I had unforeseen issues with signing a rental lease and so I wrote down the times I was out and they said it was ok. I was never told that was any issue. Once, I was suggested to not take things out of the bins to organize on the table and just directly place into boxes just a few days prior to termination and I fully obliged and put board games directly into boxes. The only thing good is that there are some awesome people here to work with. Concerns brought up by employees are too often brushed off and they'll make a big deal about things such as damages with boxes and then act as if it was never a big issue later on. Hard workers are underappreciated, and they make exceptions for some people who do less and let them slide. They make rules they don't even follow. This place severely lacks structure...
Read moreWe are a small business and were using Alliance Game Distributors. We ran in to several issues of them adding items to our orders that we didnt order. I mentioned it to our sales rep several times. Being the orders were COD we couldnt just refuse the items we didnt order and had to go through the hassel of sending things back. Finally got to the point of having to refuse the entire order, then they lost the order and wanted us to still pay for it, even though UPS showed we never took possession of the order. I asked my sales rep to call me 5 different times, call the main office asked for a manager to call me 3 different times and no one called me. DO NOT USE THIS DISTRIBUTOR!!! I am guessing this is why Wizards of the Coast left them.
