Foster Park Play Ground — Attraction in Fort Wayne

Good asphalt walking and biking trail with exercise suggestions along part of the route with simple bars and platforms to exercise on. Lots of geese in summer. Excellent playground equipment and close to river with an ad hoc trail through the woods, which may be muddy. Foster park sometimes floods up over the trail. When that happens, do NOT go in the water. This part of town has old sewer lines that overflow into the river when it floods. The city of Fort Wayne is building new sewer mains to divert sewage to the treatment plant, but until this is completed, the water is not...

Awesome park. It has a very nice size play area for children. Toddler swings and swings for older ones. The trail is perfect for my young ones wheelchair stroller. There's ample parking. Drivers are courteous for those in the crosswalk. The trail is wide enough for walkers, runners, and cyclers. I'm going into my 3rd week with this location being my number #1 choice for my early morning walks. Haven't seen any issues where people aren't cleaning behind there pups. 😃 So...
