Had lunch here for the first time in years, and the food and service was good. However, while dining, I noticed that a person had parked in the blue X'd out area in the handicapped van area, which, is NOT a parking spot, it's a spot for handicapped accessible vans to lower down passengers or for handicapped passengers to exit from the side of the vehicle. This person had CLEARLY disregarded this space, because last time I checked, no one is supposed to park in a space with any sort of x's through it, especially blue ones, right next to the handicap sign ABOVE AND BELOW the space. I put a note on the windshield of this car when I was leaving that stated this fact and to pay attention next time. I witnessed TWO people who could have used this space to exit their car come from the back of lot because of this. What I assume was the owner/manager of the restaurant FOLLOWED ME out to my car, took the note off, slapped it back on my windshield, and said thru my window I could have my note back. 1st of all, I was trying to do an act of kindness for the handicapped people who couldn't access this space because someone either wasn't paying attention or had disregard for it, it's not someone else's place to judge that. 2nd, I was literally just a paying customer! Are you kidding me?! You follow a customer out to their car and do that when the person parked there was clearly in the wrong?! Nope. I will never be back, neither will the person I was with, and neither will anyone else that I tell this story to. Next time, read the note, understand the situation, and ask questions or have a conversation instead of slapping the note back on my car passive-aggressively and walk away. That's NOT how you run a business and I'm...
Read moreWe used to love this place, but it has seriously gone downhill not to mention overpriced. Our wings were VERY small and VERY chewy and we had to send our fries back because they were literally cold. My husband said the hot sauce on his wings tasted like Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce mixed with water, but very sour.
As for cleanliness, once we were seated, we debated on staying. The floor was so dirty that my sandals stuck with each step and was littered with straw wrappers and leftover food. Not appetizing in the least to look at throughout dinner. I would think one of the five young employees standing around could have picked up a broom. The final straw was picking up the squeeze bottles of ketchup and vinegar on the table that were as sticky as the floor!
We did get a good laugh with the man at the next table who was seated with two women when the server came up and took the ladies' drink orders and then started to walk away....the man said "excuse me, what about my order?" and the server replied "oh I'm sorry, I didn't see you." Lol....
I think it's time for us to find a new place when we have a craving for chicken...
Read moreWe placed a large order for carryout from the Maysville Rd location in Ft Wayne, IN last night, and when we got home and unpacked everything they had left out almost half of our food. When I called the restaurant to let them know what had happened, the manager Zach was not at all apologetic and only offered me a $20 credit for the next time I ordered from there, but the missing food was closer to $40. When I said I wanted it credited back to my credit card he was very rude about it and said it would take 7 to 14 days to process. I asked for an email confirmation of the amount of the credit which I never received. The food that we did get was only okay, for the amount of money that we spent it should have been a whole lot better.
I wish I had read the reviews for this location before ordering from them, because apparently this is quite common at this location. My daughter who went in and picked up the food also remarked on how disgustingly dirty the bathrooms were. This location should just either close or start over with a whole new staff apparently. I will never order...
