Prepared Meat is old and seasoned to try and disguise it as fresh meat. Customer service is Garbage; no refunds or even an exchange for some Fresh Edible meat! This is why small businesses die... their lack of customer service and honor behind their products and services. I went in on Saturday evening around 6:30pm for prepared Diesmillo meat to grill for the Canelo fight gathering we had planned. I asked for 4lbs and the butcher kept joking for me to take 5lbs. I told him "no" and I still ended up with 4.60 lbs (trying to pawn the end of the meat on me). After, getting back, I opened it to cook it and it had an Odor covered by seasoning... I still ended up cooking a few steak pieces and noticed the texture and taste were off even after cooking. I ended up making chicken and burgers for the gathering. Fast forward to Monday, I call to let them know I got bad meat and I had not had a chance to go back but I wanted them to know so I could know their process for handling the situation and I could bring it back. I was told there were no refunds and that I should have left my gathering to bring it back that night but that actually, I need to check it before it leaves the store for them to do anything about it as there is no refunds/exchanges on meat. I spent $37 on SPOILED MEAT and no resolution, she told me I could shop elsewhere if I wanted to. Obviously, I will before we get food poisoning!! What a terrible way to do business, they will loose more in the long run for taking ZERO accountability for their meat and treating customers like they don't need their business! Smh

La carne preparada esta vieja y sazonada para intentar disfrazarla como carne fresca. ¡El servicio al cliente es terrible, no hay reembolsos o incluso un cambio por carne fresca comestible! Es por eso que las pequeñas tiendas mueren ... su falta de servicio al cliente y el honor detrás de sus productos y servicios. Entré el sábado por la noche alrededor de las 6:30 pm compre carne de Diesmillo preparada para asar a la parrilla para la reunión de pelea de Canelo que habíamos planeado. Pedí 4 libras y el carnicero seguía bromeando para que tomara 5 libras. Le dije "no" y aun así terminé con 4.60 libras (tratando de darme el final de la carne fea). Llegando a la casa lo abrí para cocinarlo y tenía un olor Feo cubierto de condimento ... Aún así terminé cocinando algunos trozos de carne y noté que la textura y el sabor confirmo que la Carne estaba vieja y expirada.Terminé haciendo pollo y hamburguesas para la reunión. El lunes, llame para informarles que obtuve carne en mal estado y que no había tenido la oportunidad de regresar, pero quería que lo supieran para poder conocer su proceso para manejar la situación y poder traerlo de vuelta. Me dijeron que no había reembolsos y que debería haber dejado mi reunión para traerlo de regreso esa noche, pero que en realidad, necesito verificarlo antes de que salga de la tienda para que puedan hacer algo al respecto, ya que no hay reembolsos / cambios en carne. Gasté $ 37 en CARNE EXPIRADA y sin resolución. Me dijo la señora que podía comprar en otro lugar si quería. ¡¡Obviamente, lo haré antes de que nos intoxiquemos por alimentos echados a perder!! ABSOLUTE TRASH! PURO BASURA! My wife purchased meat from this place a couple days ago and realized the meat was PAST OLD AND EXPIRED. We called the store and they told us to come up, but we when we went back it was a completely different story! RUDE employees, we explained everything calmly and the guy literally said “well next time don’t come back” we were shocked. Then he lied and said the manager would be in At 12pm, but the girl at the cash register said there was no manager and only an owner and she called the owner and the owner said there is nothing they could do. Upon reading other reviews of food poisoning and the selling of old and expired meat we will be contacting the health inspector this Monday! 3/28/2022. They were the only place open during the snowstorm. With no lights on! Im not good with spanish but the beautiful cashier spoke English and she helped me find what I needed to feed my family and the food was plenty and great what a blessing this store and it's employees are. If the owner ever see this review just know that you guys just found a customer for life! Beware of the habernaro sauce it is super hot but delicious anyway thanks guys you were the MVP of the snow storm thanks for being there for your customers you guys deserve all the good luck that's coming your way and customer's I plan on doing a review...
