I only selected ONE star because Google wouldn't allow me to post a review without selecting one. FIRST AND LAST TIME AT WHATABURGER.
I visited WHATABURGER at 4am 2/17, and ordered a #11. Before I could even complete my order, the server told me to drive to the window. In my mind, I knew my order was going to be incorrect due to her not letting me complete my order. I tried to Flag her down at the window, but both the cook and lady that took my order looked at me and continued their conversation and looking out the dining window of the cop pulling someone over in the parking lot. When she finally came to the window (3mins later), she told me my total in which I told her that the cook will have to make my sandwich over because she didn't allow me to tell her what I did and did not want on my sandwich. She begins to argue with me about how I should have told her at the order box. Now I'm confused. Then she slams the window in my face and walks away. She left me sitting there for 2-3mins then comes back to the window and asks "are you ready to act like a big boy and order your food correctly". I'm heated, but I don't say anything and begin to tell her what exactly I wanted to order and she takes my money. She goes back and tells the cook that "I ORDERED MY FOOD INCORRECTLY", slams the window shut again and blocked my vision of the cook. So now in my mind, I know that I'm not going to eat the grilled chicken sandwich because I don't what she may have told him to do to that sandwich. She hands me my food a few mins later with NO RECEIPT (guessing she didn't want me to know the store number or her name in case I called corporate). Safe to say I threw my food in the trash without eating and I still called corporate before I left the parking lot. NEVER AGAIN! Sorry that I interrupted their conversation by...

I understand things have changed since covid... i have had patience with the short handed side of things as posted on the windows etc. HOWEVER, the staff is Absolutely garbage. I worked at Whataburger in high-school under GM Patricia Champion and was the home store for the whatagames 2006-2007. They are redropping stale French fries. The presentation of their Taquitos was beyond cold cheese and tortilla just pulled from the bag and not warmed or made properly. Window times are cheated and still waited 30 minutes drive thru. The teams expressions and customer service DID match the horrible food they put out, rolled eyes, dropped change and pretty much tossed the bag through my window. Obviously this branch is not corporate. But rather a franchise and the head of this Location should Really step up to the plate and and put some time in back on the board. This is not what whataburger stands for anyway you look at it. As much as I want to complain. The lobby was closed and I could not spend another half hour going through the drive-through I threw just to deal with the deal with the same horrible service as before it's before more or less waste the time. Honestly this is the 3rd time I've been there and I've been there in the last month and and every single experience has been horrible. The sad part is I work this job in high school. All these years later I guarantee you I can come in and work the board and take on a rush by myself against their whole team and be more productive. With better times. Etc. Managers need to learn to manage or, is that what we can expect from now on... because this is NOT JUST LIKE...
Read moreBEWARE!!! Please be very aware that employees or managers at this location OVER CHARGE for food and are stealing your money! They take advantage of the fact that most people nowadays just swipe cards and never check their receipts.
I ordered through the drive-thru and after noticing that I had been charged way more for the food than was supposed to, I parked and went inside the restaurant. I first told a worker, she did not even try to resolve the issue. So I asked to speak to the manager, and as I was explaining to him what happened he just gave me this confused look, making me feel as if I had just made this whole thing up! (I wish I still had the receipt to post on here.) So I put the bags of food on the counter and requested my money back. He refused to fix the "error" or give me a total refund. (This whole thing happened a couple of weeks ago.)
My friend went to this same restaurant with her family yesterday and the exact same thing happened to her! If you go here double check your receipt! Otherwise, more than likely you're being charged more for meals here than at other...
