Wash & Dry — Local services in Fort Worth

Well I like the laundromat and been coming here for a long time now. I always had appreciated the lady in the office until today. So she sees me and my daughter in there very often. Today I was getting change from the machine and it was a dollar that got jammed, and taken but did not give me the 4 quarters. I tells the lady there, that’s always there in the daytime, instead she goes to look and comes back with a dollar bill, sticks it in and just because it gave her change, she’s looking at me as if I’m a liar and I guess trying to get 4 damn quarters for free. Girl please! Profiling me as a liar and a thief. I’m in there often, don’t need to lie about anything and especially a damn dollar. Machines can malfunction and or not always perfect. I went to my car and brought her a dollar bill back. I guess she needed it more than me. Like it was a damn dollar, not 10 or 20 dollars and yes your machine took my money. Very disappointed in her and for others to quickly try to profile an individual based off color. Do better lady, that’s all I...

Pretty clean; could use a little more TLC, but the building is fairly dated, so...can't complain. Thus location is adjacent to an LA FITNESS gym, perfect for me :-) the demographic surrounding the area is sketchy but nicer than other's... Trust me, I'd know. Fairly decent prices for the equipment provided. Enough room to move around in, change machine, soap machine, coke machine, rolling baskets. Be careful, people like to monopolize those baskets...Wow. They DO however need more folding room and better chairs to sit in while you wait.

Spent only $3.25 on a large 3 load washer (some of which smell a little like mildew...that CAN be helped with more attendance) which I stuffed pretty full and was able to CHOOSE the option to hv EXTRA water and rinse cycle... Then loaded my GAS dryer with quarters ($.25 /12:min) everything was great by the time I returned :-).

No real complaints other than the need for a little better maintenance to keep this place decent...otherwise it will 'go...

I'd like to let the “actual owner” know a recent incident at your store. Tonight, a person in a hoodie arrived just before 9pm, well within the store's operating hours as it closes at 10pm. However, the individual was rudely turned away by a man in a checkered shirt who claimed to be the owner. The owner impolitely stated that the person in the hoodie couldn't wash his clothes due to other tasks needing attention, including fixing a broken washer. Even though the person in the hoodie mentioned he had done it the previous week without issue, the owner insisted that it was his business and his decision. This left the person in the hoodie with no choice but to leave. It was evident that he frequents the store weekly for his laundry, and it was disheartening to witness this...
