I don’t normally write reviews, but my recent visit to smoke and dragon absolutely deserves recognition. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming, but what truly made the experience stand out was the incredible service I received from one particular employee, Carlee!!

Even though the shop was bustling with customers and employees coming and going, carlee greeted me warmly and immediately offered to help me find exactly what I was looking for. She didn’t just point me in the right direction—she took the time to walk me through the options, explain the differences, and make sure I understood what I was getting. Her product knowledge was top-notch, but what impressed me most was her patience and genuine interest in helping me get exactly what I needed.

What really amazed me was how effortlessly she balanced assisting me while still keeping an eye on the rest of the store. She managed to greet other customers, answer their questions, and handle the general flow of a busy shop—all while keeping our conversation light, friendly, and informative. It’s rare to find someone who can juggle that much activity and still make every customer feel like they’re the top priority.

Carlee’s professionalism was paired with a great sense of humor and an easygoing personality that made the whole experience feel like chatting with a friend rather than a quick transaction. She clearly cares about the shop, the customers, and doing her job exceptionally well.

I have gone here for over a year. I have a love/hate relationship. They have a great space and selection, but the pricing here is absolutely insane. The markup on many items is 3 times their cost. I mistakenly referred to an item by the incorrect name. It was a very small error but for the next five visits I was reminded of it. Candidly the world is strange and scary to me and though I am an executive with an MBA if you don't know....well, you have to learn. Add that to being sold equipment that did not match and align and that was a wasted $60. Recently the owner (Nick I think) decided to take products off the shelf and I was told Texas Law mandated it. I went to another shop with a friend and bought my items and was told that the information I got was inaccurate. I spent a good $1000 there this last year. I would have spent three times that, but if you are not part of their club, they seem to be overly scrutinous. I've decided to start shopping online. I know they have a loyal group of followers, but for me, I was treated poorly consistently and the prices are so gougy that it feels...

Overall I liked this store, however it had some pretty big drawbacks. POSITIVES- Knowledgable friendly staff, if your the "right kind of person" that is. Huge selection, almost to much to choose from. Huge variety of merchandise. They carry everything glass pieces. body jewellery, huge lighter selection, vapes, weapons including hard to find pieces etc; throwing knives, stars, machetes, knuckles, pocket knives even old school butterfly paper weights. Cool theme, decor and decorations. NEGATIVES- Prices felt extremely high. They tried explaining that the brands warranted the higher price tags. No clearance discount or sale items or section. When we asked about discounts the girl helping us got snooty and standoffish. NOT sk8 friendly at all. Not one item in that store catered to that particular group. When asked about a different attachment for their glass pieces the whole attitude, leve9998l of respect and complete general vibe changed. They where no longer friendly and helpful.
