My first time here but I donāt appreciated being followed around the store like Iām going to steal. Very inappropriate. I was in the essential oils section. A worker walks up to me asking if I need assistance. I say no. She then proceeds to walk back and forth multiple times really close as if she is stocking things with absolutely nothing in her hands.
At the self checkout. The #9 would not work. I tried it multiple times and the scanner just would not read anything with the #9 so needless to say multiple items that I was getting would not register. 2 workers tried it and the scanner had a defect so they had to take the items to their system and remote enter the items into my cart.
Lastly, once of the amber spray bottles did not have a barcode sticker at all. At this point I just want to get out of there so I leave it. I will be avoiding this place. Weird management practices to follow a customer around the store, your software has an issue and the not all items have a barcode. Shopping in person is already a hassle to be dealing with the extra unnecessary micro aggressions then unorganized set up...

I have been greeted multiple times by other employees asking if I needed help and was I finding everything OK. But when I need the help I was...

Perhaps I haven't been during inflation times, but everything was so expensive. I know Sprouts is a specialty store so I expect some premium pricing, but some of it is just cost-prohibitive. Even the produce prices were high, where I'd normally find them affordable. I am glad to have them in Saginaw, but I'm not sure the price points will fit the needs of the average local shopper. $9 rice pudding and 2 for $6 avocados (just a couple of examples.) I think in today's economy, the average shopper will opt for Aldi, Walmart, Kroger, etc. to save money and visit Sprouts for...
