Stephanie's Side Step Salon offers customers a very friendly atmosphere, with experienced, skilled stylists, along with a nailcare proffessional and other related services.

The atmosphere is pleasant, as you will quickly see that this delightful group have all started out as friends, and have remained so ever since. They naturally create an inviting family feeling, by not ignoring their customers.

The owner, Stephanie Tosten, has been cutting my hair for about six months so far, and I can say she does an excellent job making sure I get the best cut for me.

Cannot recommend an establishment with a disrespectful and inconsiderate owner. Hiring loud chainsaws to adjust your hedges on a Saturday morning during the brunch rush of the popular restaurant next door, and then proceeding to yell at the restaurant owner when she kindly asked you if you could have them return later in the day, is in my opinion, not what we have all come to expect from a business in Fortuna. I would give a higher rating because my stylist is so amazing and my hair cut is always perfect but one of the hair washing stations leaks and the lights don't work where the stylists are. How can you do someone's hair if there isn't good lighting? And if someone needs to wash bleach out or whatever and someone else is using the ONLY washing station, you just have to wait. That's...
