Goodwill Industries is a nice idea in theory; however, in practice, it is a complete scam. Their prices are jacked up way too high for what is essentially donated garbage. For example, I was there yesterday, and they had a bottle of lotion that was a little over half full that they were asking .99 for. All well and good, except that literally down the street is the Dollar Tree that sells that same exact lotion for $1. And that is a microcosm of the obnoxious price gouging going on there: you can pay .99 for a half empty bottle of lotion, not knowing exactly how old it is, or for a penny more you can get the same lotion brand new. Doing something for a good cause is commendable, but when you're charging full price for used and weathered items, it's borderline seedy. It leaves a horrible taste in customer's mouths, and quite frankly eviscerates any "good will" engendered by making purchases there. Underneath the facade of charity, there's the clear sense that this is nothing more than a business, on par with any local pawn or thrift shop, charging far too much for garbage...

It's part of her job. I asked politely, as always, with a "please" & "thank you". Fourth time this particular cashier has done this to me, that I've noticed anyways. Probably considerably more. A few other eye rolls because I did, in fact, say "Yes please" to having my items put in a bag. I'm not blind. Noted several times by other customers as well. I was standing there when one called her out awhile back for the same thing. I let it slide several times because we all have bad days, & she seems to generally be a surly teenager who was taught ZERO manners growing up & didn'tbother to learn any along the way. I get it. But this is a bad & awfully rude habit that NO cashier...
Read moreThe girl that cashed us out was very rude! The music they were playing was vulgar! I do not consider Eminem to be appropriate for a family store. I will never return to this location!! I would look long and hard at the people running this store!!
This is still a one star review just from another shopping experience. They had 4 girls working and only 1 register open. I don't know who runs this store but if the people at Goodwill Corporate Offices read this. I would be looking for a change in leadership at this store! It is a slow speed train wreck! I watch an employee stand behind the counter just holding hangers while there were 8...
